It's simple but it goes a long way when you're playing more in depth sessions of dnd

It's an all right mat but is gas some really bad creases from packaging

This is the fifth Pathfinder mat I've bought, my first was back in early 2010s and to this day I am still using it. After a decade of use they do show a bit of wear and tear, but still do exactly what you need them to do at the table.

Straightforward. You get a back-to-back gridmap where you can draw your maps/dungeons for when you need to write a quick one for you and your friends. While there's only 2 style/colors, this should be good for a starting party/GM. I reallly recommend this one!

For an economic option, this battlemat works well. I already had a really big Chessex mat, but it was occupied by an overwhelmingly large dungeon my D&D players were in. Tired of having to try and leave room on the mat, I just got this smaller, cheap mat to set over top of it for battles.I expected creases, and don't hold them against this product; that's in its very nature of being folded so neatly. A little annoying to draw around, but not severe enough to warrant only 4 stars. So where did it go wrong? Well, if the mat ever gets stored at an angle anywhere, you're in for a fun time. Expect the mat to curl, especially if you transport your mats in a tube like I do. I'd just revert back to folding it, but since it's gotten initially curled, folding hasn't really worked. Works as advertised though!
