1150 Case With Foam (Black)

Love pelican cases, they will not disappoint and are made in the USA. I use these cases for everything, firearms and accessories, electronics, knives, organizing collections, vehicle bug out box or just storage, glass art, guitar pedals, exc.... These cases can stand up to any abuse in the outdoors and keep your stuff dry (and protected) while doing it, I wouldn't hesitate to throw a loaded pelican off my tree stand. They also work well as stools. Although I don't know that they are designed to do so, they seem to help cut down scent. I feel like I see more animals out in the bush when I lock up my stinky gear in a big peli. They are excellent for shipping or storage of any fragile item and I'm sure I will buy more in this size and others. Truly happy to own these cases.

Great item

I bought this for airline travel for my Smith and Wesson M&P 9c. It is perfect for what I travel with: the firearm itself (unloaded and one empty mag in the gun), a loaded mag in its own plucked out space, and a box of ammo underneath the gun. It is a tight fit, true. But it's light, tough, and meets airline security regs far better than the factory case the firearm came with. I paired the case up with two Masterlock 140T padlocks (keyed identically). Locked with padlocks and unlatched, you cannot crack this case open more than maybe sliding a piece of paper in there. This case should also work well sizewise with a Glock 26 or Glock 43, assuming you're not bringing more than one or two magazines. I would caution future buyers to be judicious in your foam plucking: any segment you pluck, will pluck straight to the bottom. And this is a deep case. In my particular usage, the ammo box is tucked inside the gun's void, separated from the gun with a cloth. This works well for me as it lifts the gun up level to the top of the foam, and prevents shifting and sliding during handling. If you pluck too many pieces out, you can try to wedge them back into their spaces, but it may or may not look as nice as before you pulled it. Caution is your friend.

I use this for my puffco seeing as it has a custom glass top. This case is VERY VERY sturdy, smell proof, waterproof, and shock proof. I'm very grateful to have something so compact just the size of a lunch box to carry around my device with ease and comfort. I will always be buying from pelican for a hard case due to the quality I know I'll be getting in return.

Great case to protect something small. I used this for a GoPro Hero 4 Silver. It's a Pelican, nothing else needs to be said. Very tough and durable, waterproof, can run over it with your car and its still going to protect what's inside. I did read in some of the reviews for the Pelican 1150 in other colors that they did not receive one with double latches. This one I received does have the double latches making it easier to open yet still seals tightly. This one is the pick and pluck foam, I would have rather had the other stuff that you have to cut to form the objects you're putting in which is the only reason I'm putting 4 stars instead of 5, nevertheless the pick and pluck is dimensioned small enough to allow small objects to have a snug fit.

I bought the Pelican 1150 case with pick and pluck foam as the best house I could find for my new Kindle 3. The thin and light Kindle 3 is nice to read from, but it has the physical endurance of an equivalent mass of matchsticks. I take books with me wherever I go, and I go to some fairly rough places where I can't baby delicate electronics. The Pelican 1150 case lets me throw the Kindle around because it is now shielded from shock, vibration, moisture, heat, cold, and unkind thoughts. There is some downside to the thickness of the case, it is bigger than it has to be. I haven't found that to be a problem yet, and it gives plenty of shock protection as well as a lot of room for accessories and junk. It might seem like a big bite for a backpack, but compared to two textbooks, it is a compact load of feathers. Also, a slimmer case will probably be easier to forget. This case is built to the Pelican standard of endurance. This is not a wallet, this is for protecting gear you want to last regardless of what life throws at you.

No es una caja barata pero la protección y calidad de materiales son por demás excelentes. El hecho de que tu puedas adaptar el foam es maravilloso. En mi caso alberga una sony action cam y una ricoh theta s con sus diversos accesorios sin ningún problema. Si tienes muchos accesorios y/o cables seguro te queda corta esta caja.

Great case for what i needed. I like that the pelican case has flat surfaces for the most part and that is what i needed. It is more money than other cases but fit my need well. I have bought many of these cases.
