This facial soap is filled with good stuff to cleanse and sooth the skin. it smells spicy and clean. I have very sensitive skin and find it gentle and refreshing. I use it as a second cleanse to remove oily residue from my makeup remover.

I received a very nice surprise when I used this soap. I bought it because it was for face and body. The surprise came when I used it to also wash my hair. It works wonders, what a nice surprise. My hair was very soft and full of body. One soap for all, great for the gym or travel! I would like to see if there are other scents.

Foams up really, really well and does its job. It's kinda drying, though, and the scent is really weak. Maybe that's a plus for some, but if that's you're buying a fennel and cardamom chai soap for that scent, you might not ever know that's what it's supposed to smell like. I can't yet speak on the longevity.

I had to return this upon opening the box. The smell of fennel was overpowering. One review said it smelled like cinnamon. Did not discern that at all. No chai either. There is nothing pleasant smelling about this soap.

The smell was okay. I like a chai/cardamom kind of smell, but this one smelled a lot more like cinnamon. Which is nice, just not what I was looking for. As for the actual usage of the product, I'm pretty sure I had an allergic reaction to it. It was super scratchy (like more than an exfoliant) and I actually got a burning sensation from the soap. I had to use a different soap to get the burning to die down. Disappointed for sure. I wanted to like this a lot, but it is what it is.

I normally don't leave reviews but I want to support this company as it is local and thriving so here is my verdict.... Product-wise I've been an upcircle customer since 2023. I've bought most of their products from shampoo, conditioner, face serum, facial scrub, facial mask, facial moisturiser and my favourite facial soaps! I like to save money but I also don't want to compromise the ingredients! With the facial soap it can go 2 months for me so I REALLY love that! Whether is the fennel+cardamom or cinnamon+ginger both really suit my skin. Originally from the Philippines with some Chinese heritage so you get an idea about my skin texture etc. Highly recommend all Upcircle products!!!

I had high hopes for this but it's not for my household. Firstly I have to say it lathers superbly! One thing I was worried about was how much it would lather. However this lathers better than any hand soap. I'm 6ft3 so I have a large body I find I need to lather my body puff twice for my whole body. This means it will last ages. The other thing I have to say is despite giving you that "grubby/squeaky" feeling when you rinse it off and run your hand over your skin just like hand soap, when you're dry after your shower your skin feels so soft and nourished. The issue however for my house hold is that it makes our faces burn. I thought it was just my Mom finding something to moan about after being made to give up liquid soaps. However when I used it for the first time today I was also left feeling like my face was sensitive with a slight sun burnt feeling. So whilst it's great for your body for us it was too reactive for our faces. Others might not have this issue so it's worth a try. It might just be the spices in it that's caused it and as your skin is so sensitive it might be causing the issue.
