The pieces fit very tight if you use new treated 2x4s that are still wet but still went together fine. It was easy to assemble and appears durable. I have not hit one of the connectors with a stray bullet so don't know how they hold up. The color did fade either from the sub or rain within a few days.

Super easy to set up and take down. I’m an avid shooter and firearms instructor so I wanted something I can easily pack up and move around. Definitely will buy more.

This is a very impressive product. The plates are heavy guage steel. I used pine lumber and it fit snug. I was going to use salt treat, but the wood is slightly swollen and did not fit as well. If you plan to leave it outside you may have to sand the boards a bit to make salt treat work, but they will last longer against the weather. I really like how modular it is. You can have multiple sizes and configurations for metal and paper targets. The joints and hooks are heavy guage plastic, and you can order replacements. Also works with other types of metal targets. It is very stable and can take a rifle shoot without falling over. All together it is well worth the cost. I have about $100 in the whole rig with 2 additional targets purchased separately. Pros:- Cheap- Easy to installCons:- Easily break and chip- Not "self-sealing"- Only 1 of the 6 targets I purchased would go down when hit, and then only sometimes. I was shooting .45acp 230gr FMJ!- Look at all the damage to the targets. I fired only 30 rounds, 5 rounds per target, just a little over half of a box of ammo.- As cheap as they are they're still a waste of money.Next time, I'll just staple plastic coffee can lids to the 2x4. They're more durable and don't cost a thing.-

My kiddo shot through it with a little 22 & didn't flip down. I tried a few different calipers and same issues. Only holes and no flip. Same results as shooting through paper. They also sun faded very quickly.Disappointed because I like the other products from this company

Love this target stand system. You can rough-cut junky 2x4s and they work great. Might need to sand them a bit to fit in the boxes, but it all goes together like ikea furniture. Couple of screws to hold it together and then hang your targets.I will say though, I'm not so sure the playoff hooks are all that great. They hold on pretty well but the targets fling off of them pretty easy. Kind of wish they were on the bottom so it would be more balanced in the center, but I'm not sure if the intent is to tilt the target for safety purposes. I'm still figuring it all out. I'll probably just remake them with a 3D printer.The uprights can take a hit and survive. My kids were off target a few times and hit the supports a few times. Other than a couple minor score marks and pinholes, they didn't shatter or split, so they're pretty good. They're probably going to fade in the sun pretty quick though. Might be good to spray paint them on occasion if desired.

Hangers are too weak for gongs.
