If you have a 1/2 YOU MIGHT NEED THIS!
OH GODS THIS SAVED ME FROM SOOO MANY SEARCHING! It's gripping VERY well, and so far its easy to install if you get it in the right angle, and so far it hasn't broken off so the quality might be good. Worth to buy

Stylish pedals great for commuter
I bought these pedals for my commuter bike, to give me a little better platform, more grip and give it some style! They have 6mm allen keys to help install them, the standard RH thread for the Right pedal, LH thread for the Left pedal. I added an install video that outlines this. I find that they don't spin very quickly, which is OK for me, I actually prefer that, regardless of efficiency losses or not. I like that they have removable metal pins, which I don't see myself replacing any time soon. They look decent quality wise, I'm happy with that. The engraving and finish is consistent and machining looks pretty well done. I will say, this is advertised as a mountain pedal, which I don't agree with 100%. My OneUp Composite pedals have twice the number of pins, and are wider, for much more grip. These pedals are not that. But, they will be perfect for my commuter, running to town, bike paths, etc. The pins are not as aggressive and won't ruin my casual shoes. Can't wait to get some more biking time on them!

Very nice quality
They put your foot at the right distance away from your crankshaft it makes a big difference. I just got then because my crankshaft has different size holes.

GET THEM BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!
Let me start off with this - they look AMAZING and so far I'm really impressed. I believe FITBIKECO has a pair similar to this one and it sells for over $60. If I had extra $$$, I'd buy as many of these pedals as possible and sell them at a profit. I enjoy working on BMX bikes. And lately I've been focusing on my personal bike. A 2016 FITBIKECO PLEDGE...One particular color I was attracted to is known as "oil slick" or "Jet fuel". Unfortunately this caused 2 issues. First off the bikes stock color (Royal Blue) wasn't a good match. Issue solved...I personally painted the bike (Metallic Oil Bronze). Next issue...$$$. Parts that come in Oil Slick are simply expensive. I've been able to obtain a few items only due to them being on sale (Headset, Sprocket & Stem). At the price I was able to obtain these...I'm extremely happy I pulled the trigger on them.

Effective Adapter
These worked quite well. I used these to replace the pedals on an old beach cruiser to add flashy-led pedals on my daughters bike. (Could only find them in the adult 9/16 size.) They seem to work just fine. They do add a bit of length to the pedal shaft, which isn't too much of an issue. If they are overtightened, they might require a very slender crescent wrench to remove (the entire body is conical, except for a very slender 1/16" portion; they might be a bit more difficult to remove than to properly screw in, since you can use the new 9/16" pedal to screw in the adapter, but reversing this would just remove the pedal, but may leave the adapter in). Still, I'm very happy with the purchase.
