Magliano Rose Petal Jam Preserve, Certified Organic (7.2 oz)

This Jam is delicious. It tastes delicious and smells delicious. This is a great product and I will give it as a gift for all my best friends. I am from Tuscany and I grew up in the area where the roses used to make this jam are cultivated, and this jam takes me back to those places... I love the idea my purchase supports this small business and great project!

Yes, this is quite expensive, but it is so delicious. I'm not a fan of that "rose water taste", but I found this to be a little jar from heaven. So yummy. I ate most of it straight out of the jar with a spoon. I had heard rose jam has been used to help with retaining hydration, which I've been struggling with for years. I'm not sure how much it helped with that, but it certainly was a yummy treat discovery.

I have been searching for an organic ground rose petal jam for a very long time and have tried several others. This one is by far the best. The flavor, beautiful color, intense aromatic fragrance and consistency are a perfect filling enhancement in special holiday pastry and desserts. I only wish there was more product. The jar is very small. Nevertheless, hope to purchase again soon.

The jam is too sweet and overpowers the delicate rose flavor. It is dense in rose petals, but it has too much sugar, the first ingredient on the list ( highest percentage). It does not justify the high price tag. I would not buy again.

Truly delicious and aromatic rose petal jam. A bit pricey, but it is organic rose petal jam! Not to be confused with Gulkand, the Ayurvedic Rose Petal jam. This is not Gulkand. True Gulkand should not contain anything acidic in it, like lemon juice in this case. Also true Gulkand is made with Misri, a type of cane sugar rock candy that is different from regular cane sugar. Other than that its truly delicious!

Loved the effect of a teaspoon of this delicious jam in afternoon on hot afternoons. I run hot anyway and it calms balances my emotions, and lightens my day in these difficult times.

I have about 90 +jams at home. Attribute this to my Eastern European roots, where jams were consumed with a spoon and a glass of water. As for this creation, chapeau. Thick with rose in all its sensory aspects, one feels one is eating smelling and seeing roses all once. You don’t notice the lemon. This isn’t a jelly flavored with rose essence. This is a real jam made of real roses. Lot of love must have gone into this. May we measure up.

I had to try this after reading a WW1 Russian soldier's account of buying for food from villagers in the Ukraine, because his officers misappropriated the funds that should have been used to feed the soldiers. I bought this particular one because I recognized the type of rose petals used. Very rose flavored.
