Does it take batteries, or does it charge? (If batteries, what kind and how many)

After reading Occasional Critic's review, I was inspired to investigate how it would perform if I attempted to charge my Galaxy S7 Edge with it. By golly, this baby can crank out some current -- especially if you are able to sustain 90+ wpm at the keyboard! Check out my video tutorial on YouTube that shows how I modded this armrest to integrate a USB Micro-B cable & plug. This technique can easily be adapted for USB Type C cables & connectors as well.

Seller: In the description, please put the mouse pad's dimensions, not the package dimensions.

The actual dimensions are 8.5" (w) x 9.75" x 1/8" (thick). Overall the mouse pad is ok, but wish it were thicker. Pretty flimsy and cheap feeling. I replaced this with the Goldtouch and not even in the same league in terms of quality/thickness. The only thing missing from Goldtouch is the wrist support the Gimars has build-in. More than you needed to know but there you go. ;)

Can the mouse pad be ordered without the keyboard wrist pad?

I believe that they can be ordered separately but I needed both.
