Great sturdy tricycle!
This is a very sturdy tricycle and lots of fun for my 3 year old granddaughter and her 10 month old brother. It should last for many years.

Perfect for siblings!
We got to try this and other Angeles bikes at our local museum and the kids LOVED them. We got the Chariot as a birthday gift and our younger who can't reach the peddles yet is quite enjoying getting a ride. Family walks are quickly becoming stroller free. I like how sturdy it is and that nobody's small feet can set stuck in the wheels. The only problem I've noticed is that the platform could use a hole to drain rainwater.

Not for special needs // extremely heavy bike // not worth premium price
Bought two of these for our girls ages 7 & 6. Both have Down Syndrome. They have an extremely difficult time peddling this bike. The long seat, while it seems ideal, causes them to slide back too far as they try to drive the pedals with the feet. The grips are very hard and our 7 year old says that they hurts her hands. The bikes do seem very sturdy and that they would last a long time but I can't imagine any child riding them for a long period of time. They are very heavy and not nearly easy to move as a chain-driven bike. Definitely don't think they are worth the price. On another note, if you do decide to get these, make sure you don't buy through the 3rd party seller VirVentures. They are not transparent with their return policies and if you wanted to return them, you will be expected to pay full return price plus a 20% restocking fee. I believe they're just drop shipping the product as the return would go back to the manufacturer. I also emailed the Angeles Company and I never received a response from them.

This is a great sturdy trike
This is a great sturdy trike. The kids have no problems riding it even the little three year olds can ride it. One problem I have had is that in a childcare situation, of course kids "crash" into each other sometimes and the trike has had some paint chip off. I have had other metal trikes and have not had this issue. It does concern me since I have not had it for very long. On the other hand the kids sure enjoy making bus stops and going for bus rides!

So far unable to use
I bought this for my son a year ago, he is now 4 and is still unable to use it as it is just very difficult to pedal and he is big for his age so it is not his size. I have been keeping it around because it was just so expensive and it does seem like it would hold up well as it’s well made, but I think by the time he is strong enough to get it to move he will be too tall to use it

poor customer service from the Angeles company
Let me start with why only 3 stars. Two words, “customer service”, and if Amazon wasn’t their usual great CS self, it would have been even less than 3 stars. The receptionist at Angeles would not let me talk with someone who understood the chariots design, so I could better understand what I needed to do, to get the front and back sections together. They wanted all communications through Amazon. The thing is, right on the directions Angeles sends out, they say, “any questions, call” followed by their 800 number. It would also be helpful if they tell you in the directions, it is hard to do, but necessary and recommend some may need 2 bodies to handle the rolling quality of a trike.I was on the verge of just retuning it for a refund with free return thanks to Amazon’s great CS, but because I loved the idea of the chariot, I wasn’t quite ready to hang it up. So I sent out an SOS, via a question on how to get the two parts connected. Thanks to the kindness of 2 Amazon customers of the chariot, I was told the secret, another 2 words, “brute force”. Once I knew that, I got my son-in-law as the brute force, and I was the front wheel stabilizer, it took about 3 trys and a total of 5 minutes. It would also be helpful if Angeles tells you in the directions, it is hard to do, but necessary and recommend some may need 2 bodies to handle the rolling quality of a trike. As for the chariot it self. It is extremely sturdy and well made , and I’m pretty sure my twin grandchildren will have years of fun with it.

LOVE IT!
LOVE IT!!! The preschool that our 3 year old attends has quite a few different Angeles ride on toys that are extremely popular with the children. We decided that with 4 children of our own some ride on toys may not be a bad thing to invest in! The chariot was a HIT!! If one is not riding it solo, they are pulling a sibling in the chariot or delivering things to other areas of our yard. We plan to buy at least one more but have yet to decide on which one.

So much fun!
Our kids love this! The little guy (20 months) rides on the back seat while his older siblings (4, 8) pedal him around. It's quite heavy and feels stable. Assembly took just a few minutes as it's shipped mostly together.
