Smells pleasant- cleans well - very gentle on colored hair and for me great sensitivities to most other hair products due to all the additives and dyes . I also love the conditioner it is great for my coarse colored hair It makes my hair feel soft . I would recommend this product . I even like it better than the one that my local dermatologist sells at the front desk .

This shampoo is pretty darned good. I've had issues that I've seen a dermatologist for. She recommended a shampoo that would have made my condition worse. Fortunately, I caught it prior to purchasing the presciption and purchased this shampoo instead. I'm so glad I did. I let my dermatologist know about my dilemma. She prescribed something that contained SLS and I would have had a reaction to that as I must be allergic. I use this along with Clean Kids and my situation appears to be resolving itself. I'd like to buy their conditioner as well but it's pretty expensive so we'll see.

Works but it's certainly Not volumizing. Leaves the hair clean, didn't irritate my scalp, and Thankfully, it's Fragrance Free. Foams well. Trying to find a replacement for Paula's Choice shampoo. Will come back to it if I don't find something that works better.

I’ve been looking for a mild shampoo that won’t irritate my scalp which is prone to sporadic bumps and pain at specific areas. I have this a try after using several different types, including vinegar-based shampoos. After a couple of weeks of use, it has worked well, without any adverse effects. It also does not dry my hair strands which is a plus! Will buy another.

Incredible! Does NOT stink! Terrific on hair & body... I took it camping & used it all over. It worked well with the questionable campground water.... lathered well & left zero residue. Seriously, this will be my new go-to shampoo.

Clean brand that actually WORKS. I have very fine hair... it's so hard for me to get volume and this brand DELIVERS. it's rare to find a brand that is clean but also works and this one does! Love the good ingredients. I use it with my clean purple shampoo by Kitch and it makes it easier to lather. I just got the Cleure conditioner as well and am going to try that now as well. This is my second day hair with no styilng products! First day I blow-dryed after shower but this is after being slept on and just combed through. New Holy-Grail volumizing shampoo for fine-hair girls!

Pros: It doesn't make me itch like all the other shampoos with fragrances and other allergens. That's where it ends. Cons: So drying!! Even with a thick conditioner this shampoo just makes my hair very dry. I prefer the one from Vanicream. Suggestion for those with multiple skin allergies who are using hypoallergenic hair products - pair the shampoo with the Ordinary's conditioner (benza.... something or other... it will come up in a search!). Giving it 3 stars for the fact that it doesn't make me itch and it does clean.

I’ve had scalp issues for years and this shampoo actually calms everything down for me. No fragrance, lots of bubbles, gentle and best if all, no itching after use.
