WADEO Rain Barrel Spigot, Brass Rain Barrel Quarter Turn Ball Valve Spigot with Bulkhead Fitting-Black

I purchased a couple of used 59gal Wine barrels to use for rain water collection. These were a perfect fit for the barrels. I used a 1-1/8in spade bit and we were golden. They look good and have a nice tight seal. Couldn't be happier. Don't forget to move up about 4 inches from the barrel bottom to account for the bottom edge and give yourself a little space in the barrel bottom for crap. I used 8x14 house vents cut into the tops of the barrels to keep critters and junk out, with rain chains coming down from the gutters. I like the look.

This set has everything you need for the installation. Sturdy, easy to open and close, moreover, it can be re-used!

This spigot is very solid and well built, however I received one that was clearly damaged and possibly returned. In the pictures you can see that the handle was forced with a tool and the black paint chipped off. The mounting tape dispenser was also damaged, and the wrapper was ripped and full of fragments. I installed the spigot nonetheless and the installation was fairly easy, but I believe that since Amazon did not sell me a NEW unit, I should not have paid full price.This is really bad business practice, and Amazon should be more clear and honest about the products they sell. This time around I chose not to return the item, but next time I won't hesitate and will send everything back. NOT RECOMMENDED DUE TO THE FACT THAT AMAZON RESTOCKS DAMAGED/DEFECTIVE ITEMS AND THEN SELLS THEM AS NEW.
