Incredibly disappointed with this pretend make up set. Initially when it arrived it looked fantastic however as I unpacked everything it was only downhill from there. Firstly 2 items were broken in the package (an earring and a brush) and also there was a nasty hair enclosed in one of the plastic packets. In only a couple of days more than 5 of the items have broken. The brushes fall to pieces and the bracelet also snapped through very gentle use. The tiara and wand are oddly made of metal opposed to plastic which makes them unnecessarily uncomfortable and heavy to use. The best quality items are the make up bag and the shoes but the rest of the items are shockingly poor quality. Wouldn't recommend.

(This advice is from a real-life experience.)What I love about this set is the bag - after they've all gotten tired of the pretend make-up and toys, the bag is pretty cute and helpful. All parts of this kit don't have sharp edges, so they're safe to play with, except for the eyeshadow applicators. If your kid is not careful, they could poke their eyes out. The shoes are for petite little kids, but when one of the older cousins tried to walk in them - they held together really well despite the added weight.On the other hand, the sceptre and crown are just too easy to break when you're not careful.But toys are meant to be broken anyway, and breaking them means that the kids enjoyed playing. I would recommend buying this toy for kids ages four and above.

This is the ultimate princess dress-up kit for a little girl, our granddaughter just loves trying on the included crown and shoes, then waving the magic wand. There's so many additional accessories included, such as pretend make-up, necklace, bracelet, earrings, and a lovely make-up bag to put it all in, every princess box is ticked!Girls will love transforming themselves into a princess with this kit, it really is excellent value for money considering all the accessories that are included.

A nice set of play dressing cloths and jewellery etc., however, to quote age ranges from 3 to 8+ is not factual. I got this for one of my daughter’s grandkids and she feels 4 (perhaps 5) is the max age range to give the recipient a chance to use all of the pieces. Although some parts could be used by older kids, other (such as the shoes) definitely will not.Needs a re-think on promotion
