I installed this camera about a week ago. I bought it because the two previous cameras I used on my Land Cruiser Prado here in Costa Rica went bad. One stopped working and the other fogged up. This camera is water proof with a heavy metal housing. I thinks it’s going to last. So far the image is great. I really like the way it works so well in low light situations. Very vivid images. The price was less than my previous cams and it’s working much better. Easy to install as well. I highly recommend this unit.

Works great on my Alpine Halo Din. Great picture easy mounting. Seems like it's pretty durable for such a cheap camera. I'm buying another for the front cause my deck records. So I won't need my dashcam anymore.

Bought this camera to replace one I broke that came from an aftermarket radio. I'm not entirely sure how to get the cam to work without putting it into reverse, pretty sure that's because it's missing a wire the other one had specifically for this head unit, but it still works great regardless with clear video. Unable to test the 1080p because my unit only has 720p but again, I'm sure it looks great and will definitely test in the future if I ever get a chance. If you need a camera that will help you see great at night and feel safer at night with good colors. It's waterproof as well so no problems mounting to the back of my license plate, and the camera angle stays where you need it. Overall a good product, and not a bad price at all for what you get, good value. I'll change my stars to 5 once I can figure out how to wire the cam to always work with the car on.

Works as advertised, easy installation, good vision during low light and priced very competitively.

I tried a couple different back up cameras and found the Pixelman to have the best picture (easy to try these things before installation with a 12V battery and video connection to a TV). It is wide angle which gives a good field of view but you do get associated fish eye distortion. This is also true for other wide angle choices, just something to be aware of.Overall I am very pleased with it as a replacement for the failing OEM camera on my 2005 Honda Odyssey. I've had it installed for several weeks now and so far, so good!

Greetings. I purchased this camera based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. Camera was very easy to set up and worked with no fuss right out of the box. I am very impressed with it's low light ability. I planed on using this camera as an additonal front camera and during the transition, i missplaced the instrucion manual. I contacted the seller and within a day I got a response and they sent me the PDF of the instructions. Very quick turnaround. I give this camera 5 stars. 1 star for the build quality of the camera. 1 star for the ease of set up and the useful mounting brackets. 2 stars for the cameras low light ability and finally 1 star for the sellers customer service. I am very happy with this camera. I hope this helps in your decision.Cheers.

Recently installed this camera while upgrading my car stereo to one that supported cameras. I previously installed a rearview mirror camera so thought I would not have to run a new cable from the rear to the front. I was the one already installed. Wrong. This camera specifically states that you MUST use their cable or you damage the camera so I had to run all new wire to use theirs. I think that is a bad idea to use non standard wiring configuration but that was marketing idea. Anyway installed the camera and it has a good picture. The instructions state to cut the white wire if you don't want to use the built in guidelines in the camera. I did that but the guide lines were still there. Tried to contact their support and was directed to their website by Amazon. Their contact info gets you a maill delivery error so no way to contact them for warranty support. Still within 30 day return window with Amazon but I can't take the wire out easily now that it is run. Great picture though.
