LLT LED Panel 2x2 Non-Dimmable Edge-Lit Flat 27W 4000K Bright White

I bought one to try it out in my basement with a drop ceiling. The low profile and the price being half of what I found at the local big-box hardware store were the biggest attractions. The first panel was damaged, but I returned it and bought another which looked great, had a very even lighting across the whole panel, and installed easily. As others have said, the screw terminal on the AC side of the driver (transformer) is a bit small, but my wires fit, if a bit snugly.I liked it so much I decided to replace my remaining fluorescent fixtures with these. I ordered a 4-pack and 2 more individuals. The 4-pack was fine, but one of the 2 individual panels had to be returned because of a dark spot several inches in diameter near one of the edges.That brings me to one problem I noticed. The packaging on the 4-pack is fine, but for the single panels, the Amazon shipping box is significantly wider than the panel's own carton, with only a few pieces of paper that do nothing to act as a buffer or keep it from sliding around inside the shipping box. Couple that with the fact that the driver doesn't have any protective packaging or anything holding it in place, and you have a decent possibility of damage occurring during shipping. I had no problem doing the returns, and I got my refund quickly, but it's still a waste of time and effort, both for me and the seller, not to mention the wasted shipping costs (not my cost, thankfully).The only other problem, which was easily fixed, was on two panels. The panel would go dark sometimes and light back up if you wiggled the connectors. The connectors themselves are a little flimsy, but the problem was fixed by pushing the pins from the back of the connector toward the front. They clicked into place, and after that the panel stayed lit regardless of connector movement. I noticed a similar problem on one other connector, so I pushed the pins into place before installing the panel, and had no problems.I've only had them a few weeks so I can't comment on longevity, but I love the way they look now, and the price was excellent.Pros:Clean, even lightingBrightEasy to installLow profileGreat priceCons:Packaging on single panel orders is inadequate, prone to sliding around inside box. Very simple installation: Wire cutters, wire stripper/knife, two screwdrivers. About 20 minutes if you have to wrestle an old fluorescent light out. 5 minutes on a clean install. Turn off the power, disconnect the previous light, separate the quick connect, connect to the load and neutral, put the light in place and complete the quick connect...that's it, folks.At 4000K, it is a massive improvement to the (2) 40W Fluorescent setup. Light is consistent and bright.I sincerely cannot say enough good things about this light.

Box came in damaged. The corners were bent and the connectors were missing. Unfortunately I needed this for a job and didn't have time to send it back. So i straightened the corners and replaced missing connectors with butt connectors and tested light. To my surprise everything worked. Once installed these lights look great and are very bright. I would have given 5 Stars if it wasn't for all the issues I had to go through. Would definitely recommend.

product but does not come with any mounting hardware except for tabs which can be bent outwards when using in the existing 2x2 ceiling grid. Least the seller can do is offer all mounting option as an addon purchase item when buy the light. Rather leave it to the buyer having to do research as to which mounting hardware will be compatible with this Item.

I installed one of these in my basement ceiling. It is like having a skylight in the basement. I will be ordering a couple more to replace our old can lights.My home office is in our basement and the color temperature is great. I only wish they sold this fixture and color dimmable.

I am an independent salon owner, and needed better lighting for the place I work, my lighting is so much better. I highly recommend this.

Perfect replacement for outdated fixtures. Low power consumption and super thin. Much better than I expected. I bought one to try and will be getting more.
