Below is my original review... BUT I'm editing it! The seller contacted me after reading my review and WOW... I am so impressed! They offered to send us new cones for free and they did! The new cones came in clean and undamaged. This is how customer service should be. Anyway, as I said in my original review... I love these cones... I was just disappointed in my second purchase of them. They made it right!******original review: I’ve ordered these before and they were very nice. This time they came in dirty and smashed and one of them is missing the important reflector tape. Ugh. I don’t want to return because I’ve been waiting forever for them. Buy beware.

Needed to mount some safety warning chains at a dock edge where fixed ballards wouldn't work, and this was an inexpensive alternative, drilling holes and mounting eye bolts to hold the yellow chains. However, I was not able to use the 5/16 code 3 yellow polyurethane coated code 30 metal chain I already had a quantity of. Even with the 10 lb base pad in place, the weight was too much for two of these to hold the metal chain over a 12' spread and they would not stand up. So, I had to substitute lightweight plastic yellow chain.

We have a large drop-off on the edge of our driveway, so these have been perfect for parking on that side. They have survived high winds and lots of snow. Easy to move but stay put. The mat on the bottom is very sturdy.

Perfect Design and Color.But….. has no ability to hold a plastic chain or rope without failing over.This item is way overpriced considering it cannot hold itself upright.

For the money, I cannot register a complaint. Things to consider: The wall thickness of the upright tubes isn't all it could be, so be careful when installing them. The base is solid. The color is bright, so far it has help up well in uninterrupted direct sunlight.

The tall orange cones are the perfect height and the holders strong.
