COMPARING TELEADAPT, APPLE AND ANKER LIGHTNING TO USB-C: QUALITY AND SPEED
I specialize in tech reviews and am proud that my evaluation of Apple’s USB-C to Lightning cable is the leading review assisting folks on whether to go Apple or not. I had never heard of Teleadapt until doing this review and was not expecting this cable to be at the same stellar quality level as the competition. However, its solid braided build quality and performance impressed me. Since this is a braided cable, the most direct competition is Anker’s version. It is just as thick as Anker and is well made. However it is priced far lower. The shielding is also impressively thick and the cable is unlikely to separate away from it as is common with Apple cables. The warranty is superb at two years. While some Anker cables have a lifetime warranty, most expire at 18 months. What about charging speed performance?Fast! It charged an Apple iPhone 12 from 1% to 53% in 30 minutes, meaning a total charge of 52%! To get this wired charging performance, you must have a Power Delivery charging brick or car charger of at least 18 watts. Any higher wattage WILL NOT get you better performance. I’ll explain more about what to look for in a charging brick this later in the review. For the car, you must use a USB-C to Lightning cable with a a charger of at least 18W.Anker Powerline+ II Braided USB-C to Lightning Cable:Anker’s woven black cable is thick and solid. The shielding runs deep and is unlikely to separate from repeated use where it meets the braided section. This was my first woven cable. It’s actually dark gray. After a year of of daily use, there were no issues at all. However, it conked out recently just shy of three years. Typically priced at about $20, it’s the most expensive of the three. What about Anker charging speed performance? Also terrific! Just like the Teleadapt, it charged an Apple iPhone from 1% to 53% in 30 minutes, meaning a total charge of 52%.Apple to Lightning to USB-C Cable:Apple’s cable is the thinnest and offers the least protection against bending damage where the plug meets the cable jacket. I have owned four Apple versions. Unfortunately, Apple has not stepped up its game with better cables and the warranty is one year only. What about Apple charging speed performance?Identically impressive. It also charged an Apple iPhone from 1% to 53% in 30 minutes, meaning a total charge of 52%. But at $19, I’d opt for the competitors due to better warranties and superior construction. What about all the other brands suddenly popping up?Despite some enticing reviews, I implore you not to buy any USB-C to lightning cable that is not “Apple MFI Certified.” Stay away from cheapies that claim to be certified that are likely to fall apart quickly--not worth it for such a vital cable in your arsenal. As I wrote, Marchpower is new to me but I find it to be the equal of the better-known brands. All important warranty and service comparisons:Apple is always easy to deal with but the one-year warranty is a disadvantage. I’ve had mixed results with Anker’s service. Four of Anker lightning cables have failed on me. Two were within the warranty and replaced. The others were beyond the warranty.CHARGING BRICKS FOR WALL OR CAR: Which to buy / Tips:Be sure you get one labeled “USB-C Power Delivery.” This is also known as PD. Wired USB-C to Lightning charge speeds are the nearly same whether you use an 18W power brick, or one of any higher wattage, as long as it is a Power Delivery charger. Stay with less expensive and smaller 18W bricks unless it will do double duty charging a laptop. On sale, reliable PD charging bricks can occasionally be found on Amazon as low as $12.The same holds true for car chargers. Look for PD and at least 18 watts. Of course you’ll need another USB-C to Lightning cable to take advantage of max speed possible discussed in this review.About "fast" wireless charging vs. wired charging:Wireless charging technology is still relatively early stage in terms of convenient vs. speed. Wireless chargers are wonderfully convenient. Yet, if you are in a hurry, the fastest way to charge an Apple phone by far is with a USB-C wired charging brick of at least 18w, along with an Apple-certified USB-C to Lightning cable.Hope this review has been of help--thanks for slogging through all the detail. These are all good cables depending on your specific needs re preferred length, color options, and warranty. Here’s that Apple cable review to further assist in your decision of which to go with:https://www.amazon.com/review/R13Y06FQ6QTEY/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B07CMN7DCXHAPPY CHARGING!

So far so great!
So far, this cable has not disappointed. While I've only had it less than a week, it has given no errors on my phone and my phone charges quickly. As with all cables and fast chargers, the last 10% of the charge cycle from 90 to 100% will slow down considerably, and the slowdown begins at 80%. This is not the cable's fault, just the way phones are programed to protect the battery. The cable is a nice braided one that will avoid tangles. It starts off stiff but with use will loosen up. The only niggle I have is I wish the charging head was a bit smaller to fit in cases with small openings, but it hasn't been a problem with the cases I am currently using. Would definitely have been a problem with an old LifeProof case I had. It's nice seeing a longer, braided cable that's USB-C on the end that connects to the charger. The ends feel solid and should last, but time will tell. My cable measured 5 inches longer than six feet, so overall it's true to size. I'd rather it be a bit longer than advertised than shorter. So far it's a nice alternative to what I consider the gold standard of charging cables, the Anker Powerline II. Well done Teleadapt.

Good cable, charges at 3 amps
Even though the types of cables in use today on computers, laptops, phones andi-products are narrowing down, it’s still the wild, wild west out there with the difference choices of plugs in use.If your luck runs like my luck, I discover I need a certain cable that I don’t have around 11:00 P.M. on a Saturday night. USB C is moving up to the front and this cable is at the front of the class. All cables are not created equal. Some are really good, some passable and some absolutely horrible. This cable is well constructed. It has a thick woven covering, and it’s stiff and heavy for a cable this size. Hopefully, being stiff and heavy means thicker wires inside. One thing I like about this is it has an attached Velcro strip to keep it rolled up when not in use or for cable declutter. Another thing I like about it is it’s rated to charge up to 3 amps. That’s not bad. And at six feet long, it’s looking pretty good.

Good charging cable
Works well with my iPhone. Feels sturdy. Braided cable is the right stiffness and flexibility.

Excellent Cable for My Mac
I ordered the Teleadapt Lightning to USB C Cable so I could connect my iPhone directly to my MacBook without needing an adaptor. In the past I've used non-Apple branded cords to a disappointing outcome; they've worked briefly but then my device rejected them because they were not actual Apple cords. The Teleadapt cord is different. Because it's MFi Certified, it works great! I am thrilled. I'm finally able to easily attach and back up my iPhone to my Mac. Yay. I love that the cord is braided. I can't prove this, but I'm thinking it's sturdier than my regular iPhone cords. It looks stylish too. This cord is a no brainer. At just under $13 (its current price) it is almost 30% less than an Apple branded Lightening to USB C cable. I highly recommend it.

Great cable
I ordered this to charge my iPhone 13 Pro Max, and it works perfectly. I did notice that the end that goes into the phone is a bit tight to get in and out, but maybe that's a good thing.I like the length, and I like that it is a braided design rather than plastic, because those sometimes tend to split over time.I have it connected to a USB-C ported charger that I had on hand but rarely used. The C connection seems to be becoming the norm these days. The cable works perfectly and with this setup my phone now charges much faster than the USB-A to lightning charger that I had been using....about 50% faster.Very happy with this cable and do recommend it.

Performance & Premium Cotton Feel But Ends Not As Compact As they Could Be
In short, it’s a very nice quality cord 6’ USB C to Lighting cord with MFi certification. Has a premium feel, with a nice thick, smooth braiding with reinforced connectors which have a nice textured grip. Also comes with an attached hook and loop strap to keep it tidy. The connectors (USB-C and Lighting) are both pretty compact and shouldn’t pose an issue with ‘most’ cases. PD fast charging at full speed and had no issues charging my Iphone quickly. Really have no major criticisms. Feels premium, performs, and the thick braided cord is smoother than most (I presume this is because of the cotton). Only minor caveat I have is that the lightning connector, while compact, isn’t as compact as some. It’s exactly 10mm wide vs some connectors which can be as small as 8.5mm. It’s also 6mm thick compared to some which are just under 5mm. Only an issue if you have a phone case with a very narrow lightning port cutout. Very happy with the cord, and feels better than most.Final Thought: Premium Feel and performance.
