Works well and looks great as a replacement! Recommend.
Working well as a straight replacement on our screen door. It is touchy on adjustments and in our case it is either slow to close or slams, but I believe the closer is a good one. The bottom sweep on the door itself seems to be the problem but I have yet to get to that. Overall it is a good replacement product at a reasonable price and was received quickly. Recommend.

Get it, it will save your door.
The reason I bought this part was very simple, the wind kept blowing my door, which wpuld then slam againt my garden wall. It happened so many times my doors ended up slightly misaligned. I should've bought this strut sooner. But better later than never I guess. Recommended...

Great quality but could be slightly longer.
I put this on our storm door to our upstairs apartment and it works great! I do wish I could open the door 90 degrees though. It only goes to about 80 degrees or less which is mildly annoying. If I adjust it to be longer then it won't allow the door to automatically latch with the shocks strength. Something to get used to. But for the price, it was well worth it in my opinion. Would for sure buy it again. Unless I found a slightly longer for close to this price. Anything else I found was between $30 and $60.

Works as it should
I installed this on a lightweight aluminum screen door and it works great. Instructions are a bit lacking but you can find extra help online. Skinnier sheet metal screws would have worked better for my application, but the ones that were provided did fine. Iโm glad I bought this.

I got a dud. Lasted 1 week.
There are a lot of great reviews here. So I must have received a factory dud. My closer lost all pressure in the cylinder after 1 week. Tried adjusting multiple times. The adjustment screw had no effect regardless of the setting. All I have now is a slamming screen door.
