Very comfortable. Too hot for summer use. After a hot summer of not using them, I went out for a walk in damp grass this morning. UGH! The right boot leaked right away. Not only did it leak, it held the water in for the rest of the walk. Super disappointing after spending $200 on these boots, and my “return window” from Amazon is closed. UPDATE: Amazon was helpful even though I was outside my return window, and I I will be purchasing another pair of Scarpas to get one that is not defective. So my review went from 5 stars, to one, to 4 for that reason.
