Omega 3 Fish Oil for Cats - Wild Caught, Skin and Coat, 16 fl oz Liquid

Was a little nervous at first from the other reviews. It I does have a strong fishy smell so I can see where picky cats who don’t like fishy food wouldn’t like it. My cat on the other hand would steal tuna out of your mouth if he was able to. So mixing this in his wet food is perfect. I wasn’t expecting much in a change honestly but I was hoping. I first noticed his fur softer. He’s shedding less. His dandruff is a lot less and he’s not scratching at himself. He seems at ease. I’m glad out of all the ones I was looking at I settled on this one.

My two cats are eating it. One of mine had bad skin problems on her belly (big hot spots and OTC steroid spray helped a little so they weren’t red anymore but the fur wasn’t growing back and skin felt dry). See photos* below taken on Dec 26 and Jan 12, showing visible improvement after just 2 weeks. She also had some dandruff occasionally, and she had an ulcer in her eye that had finally healed (using prescription drops) by the time I got this but I bet its healing would’ve been accelerated by it because it’s helped her skin a lot already. It’s been about 2 weeks. Her belly skin looks healthier and feels softer, and I can see the hairs growing back everywhere. Dandruff not acting up much this winter either and I really do think they’re even shedding less. I try to minimize fish ingredients in their foods because I don’t like feeding them farm raised byproducts but maybe they weren’t getting an ideal quantity of omegas. In the future I might look into supplementing taurine as well (probably in the form of chicken liver) if I can become comfortable with dosing but this has clearly been very good for them for now and exactly what my one cat most needed. I also think it helped one upper molar that was acting up on my other cat (inflamed gums and some rot or gingivitis on the tooth). I’d started occasionally brushing the tooth but am unsure I felt confident of any improvement until the other day, after she started consuming this, which may be coincidence but probably isn’t. For 1/4 tsp each, I am using 15 drops mixed into their wet food. I mixed broth in too at first to acclimate them to the flavor but now I just add this and they don’t mind. The bottle does leak when you use the dropper attachment but there’s a pump option too. *Edit on Feb 3 with third photo to show update after 5 weeks. Fur not filled in on entire belly but healthy growth still progressing all over.

EDIT: So yes, my picky brats did not like this stuff, however, like I said, my neighbors cats love it! They go crazy for it! So it is a good product, just not for us. And the customer service is amazing! They really want to keep their customers happy, and will do whatever it takes to make things right! Kudos to them! Bought this a while back for one of my cats. Just put a few drops on his food. He hated it! Refused to eat anything until I threw it out and washed the bowl! So I gave it to a neighbor, her cats love it. Now I have a second cat, so I thought (fingers crossed) I would give it another chance. You guessed it... she hates it too!! Also refuses to eat until I throw it away and wash out her bowl! So, I guess the neighbors cats are getting another bottle. At least they will be happy.

My cat lost his fur in the back due to him pulling and over licking the area( Later found out he licked the area that hurts. He got arthritis). I bought this oil because my cat doesn't like salmon ,I read sardines are actually better than salmon, so I wanted try this one. I mix a half a pump on his wet tuna meal (Meow mix, tuna and shrimp only one he eats) . I add an teaspoonful of warm water in his food to make a broth. he loves the broth and will gobble up. Within two weeks he got his fur back . He is more active , gives him more energy. He has gained a pound since this oil is helping him eat more. Which is great because he lost a lot of weight due to his kidneys and wouldn't eat. Now I give to my other cat and her fur is very soft and less dander. Our cats are both 15 years old and they are very happy. Update: It's been 3 moths since given to our two senior cats, they shed less, very soft fur, more energy ,assuming helping with joints ,they are little bit active than before (they are playing now!) . Now I am giving to the dogs from the same bottle. we have 43 lb and 58 lbs dog. Their skin and fur gotten shinier and softer. They are getting old too, and lives outdoor. I think oil is helping the dogs too. they love the oil. lick the bowl up. oil says for cats but so far it is working for the dogs with out any consequences. FYI, I give 2 pumps of oil to the 43lb , 3pumps of oil to the 58lb. It depends on your animals' weight so check the dosage ,you can find the instruction on the bottle. Also,too much oil can make their stomach little upset so adjust the dose accordingly. If you have multiple dogs and cats like me, you could get a larger bottle and give to all of your fur babies. Happy babies, saves your wallet too. win win! I recommend to anyone who wants your fur babies to feel better.This oil has worked for ours.

The bottle is already finished...The picky feral cat liked it...and it seems that the straying oppossum too. I thought it would just alone help to prevent cats from getting parasites, but I guess one needs to combine it with other means of prevention. The opaque bottle poured badly...a leakage...due to the pump...which explains also why it did not last longuer. Now I must say the animal's hair look like silk. It also helps with cats' hairballs apparently, making the process easier for the animal. Instructions are clear and it seems to be a good company. I know these are hard times, and I wished it was simply not as expensive... Do not give cats your food supplement it is dangerous for them and remember these Omega 3 are just for your own cat too...LOL. Fatty acids help to maintain your pet healthy. Pets deal with allergic reactions (flea/ear mites/food, etc. Or chronic disease/ cancer/ auto-immune, inflammations, etc.) and just like us, they can benefit from powerful healing food like nuts, flax and of course fish. In most of the cat foot we buy omega 6 are abundant because I guess they are cheaper? I personally try to avoid grains or cereals in food for animals because they provoke itchiness badly. In theory omega 3 should be given in small quantites 2 times a day (see the package for clearer instructions). This liquid supplement is very efficient dropped in the food as it is fast absorbed by the cat and its body cells. It would have been easier if the pump did not leak (the reason I had to pour the liquid into the food). That being said, I noticed a huge improvement in just one week. The reviews were very good mentioning ingredients are all natural and the product efficient. Well, I agree with them and recommend.

❌Please ask your vet before using this product.❌ My cat did not like this at all. So I started pumping a little in his mouth. Of course he tried spitting it out but it was already settled in his mouth. Being he did not like it, I thought it would still be good for him. I gave it to my friend after using it for 5 days. Tonight I just saw a big chunk of cat fur missing under his neck and some little bit around his mouth. My Spenser never had any cat fur missing. He is 7 yrs old and he is dark Chocolate. I am totally upset with this product. It has to be something in it that my baby is allergic to. It made him real sick. Took him to the vet and cost me $443 to find out what is wrong with him. He started shedding, bad dandruff badly and started itching really bad to the point where hair was missing. Doctor gave me medicine to put on his fur. He had to wear a cone on his neck.🥺 Now I have to tell my friend not to use it. Not sure if she used it yet. I have not talked with her. I am handicapped, I don't drive. So I have to wait til Monday or Tuesday being it is a holiday weekend "Memorial Day" My friend works. She usually drives me to my doctor appointments. I am totally Super angry with this product. Fyi: I live in Las Vegas there are no fleas here. My baby is Super scared of everything. He has always been a inside cat.

While brushing Kitness, I noticed some flakiness. I researched then ordered this product. Within 2-4 days the flakes disappeared and her coat feels softer. I now use it every other or 3rd feeding. She seems to like it fine.

Long lasting supplement

2 years ago I had to have my long haired cat shaved because his coat was so matted. Then I found Omega 3 fish oil on Amazon and I couldn't believe what a difference it made. As soon as I started using it my cats coat became smooth and silky. He hasn't had a matted clump since. I only use 2 drops in his food twice a week. It has no smell and if it has a taste my cat seems to like it. I'm so glad I found this I wouldn't be without it now.

Almost 2 months in and I see a significant difference in my cat's fur and mobility. Her fur is so soft and silky. Her dandruff is very minimal and it was very bad before. Her mobility seems better, she dosen't limp as bad or as much after getting out of bed. I will be keeping her on this going forward.

I am putting this on our boys' wet food. The Cats all love it.

I'm sure it's very good, but my old cat won't eat it on her food. She is old and an entitled princess. I'm trying to get her to eat.

I bought this April 3rd. It is now April 11th and I cannot believe the difference already! My cat has horrible dandruff. I brush him, give him wet food etc but he still had it. I tried other fish oil but he hated it because it stunk so bad. I decided to try this because I read there was no odour. He loves it. Goes down smooth and he doesn’t even notice it. So far just In literally a week - his coat hardly has any dandruff, and it’s shiny. I will def be reordering and highly recommend. The only thing is that the lid leaks after you squeeze it out. I have tried both the pump and the squeeze. Not a big deal though, you don’t lose a lot of product.
