Since there are so many good pictures and videos already posted I won’t feel bad about doing this review in bed w out taking a pic lolIt looks exactly as pictured.The sound quality is so nice. I have two babies under a year and half old (one 16 months, one 1 month— Send help) and they both have sound machines in their rooms. My son has a different one, around the same price range if not slightly more expensive, and it has a similar range of sounds. My newborn daughter has this one. The big differences between them is the sound quality. My sons his more high pitched while this one is softer. The sound also travels differently out of the machines. My sons seems to sound the same no matter where you are in the room while this one softens as you walk farther away. Where my daughters crib is the sound is so much softer snd less jarring than my sons. I sleep in the same room w my dish here still and I notice every night how nice the sound is. Yeah if you’re standing AT the machine it may seem loud but then you walk 6 feet away and it’s so much softer. You can turn it up w out causing the room to be unsleepable. That’s always been the issue I had w sound machines is how unnatural the sounds could be reverberating within a closed room. This machine is definitely better the other one in that regard. I also like the way it looks. All the buttons and knobs work well and feel quality. My sons feels a bit cheap and the buttons are loud as hell and click like cheap loose plastic. This one is solid and quiet. I like the quieter knob feature of this one more than the plastic buttons of the other one.I HIGHLY recommend this machine. I do not use the battery feature, only the wall plug. So far it works like a charm every night. Hope it lasts lol. I’d consider getting another one for my son for sure.Update 5 months in: my daughter is 5 days shy of 6 months, and we’ve used this machine every single night since I got it. I no longer sleep in the same room as her, and her loud a** brother is right next door shrieking and hollering most nights like a bafoon. I read somewhere that in order for a sound machine to have best results, you’re supposed to either turn it into the direction of where noise comes in (like towards a door, or towards a loud wall) and/or position the machine closer to the source of the noise. It doesn’t need to be like at their ear to work. For example I have hers on her dresser, which is adjacent to the doorway, and it is pointed towards the door. Not sure if that tip was accurate or not but that’s the advice I followed lol. The machine is in the same exact condition as when purchased. It just sits there. Sometimes I forget to turn it off and it runs all day. I’m going to order another one for my son. I love this one.

Love it. I use it to sleep for fan sound and this unit has a great one for that. Love that there is just a button to press for it vs having to flip thru all the sounds to find it

Like all about it except the light going through around the buttons. Chances are that the people who buy sleep devices are sleep hygiene concsious and know that we need complete darkness for high quality sleep.I cover mine with thick towel to solve this annoying overlook.

I have one of these that has lasted about 25 years and I love it. I bought this one to keep on hand so I would have one when mine stopped working. THIS ONE DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. IT IS NOT GETTING ANY POWER AT ALL. Unfortunately, I bought it 2 years ago to have on hand. Oh well .... Not happy at all.

Small, compact noise machine with many different sounds and an easily adjustable volume control. Although the included USB ports on the back are a nice inclusion, I don't need them, but others may find them just what they needed if short on wall plugs for charging electronics.

The volume is awesome and that’s it. I brought this for the fan/white noise. It doesn’t have a high choice meaning all they have for both fan and white noise is the base one. I got this to hook it up to a speaker because of my husbands snoring that keeps waking up the baby and then no one sleeps well except him. We need sleep too! So I’m desperate but unfortunately the sounds of the fan and white noise have a throbbing trembling base noise. I was getting anxiety going back to sleep every time it would randomly turn off and quickly on. This alone I knew was not good but the baby slept thru it but then it happened again I couldn’t go back to sleep! Well after 5 hrs it turned off completely like as if I turned on the timer but I didn’t! It did the slowly turning off routine but again I did not press the timer. We need sleep at least 9 hrs bc we have two toddlers, one that we still call baby so yes after that he was up. A couple hours later we finally went to go sleep again and since it’s day time and hubby is at work I’ll just have it on without the speaker WELL with in a minute or 2 it did it again! Started slowly turning down the volume like as if it’s I press the timer tho we all know a 2 min timer doesn’t exist so it’s definitely defected but I’m not going to sit here and wait for another to come. Take a chance if you want this for a nature sound which it ain’t for me so I can’t tell you if it’s good or not but if it’s a high white noise/high speed fan you want this ain’t it. I’ll share a video later right now I’m moody bc of lack of sleep and I wanted to share the bad experience I had last night. Good luck!

Well… 2 years to the day the sound machine stopped working. The electrical cord had always been a little touchy, sometimes I had to jiggle it and position it carefully to get it to work. The battery life is really short too, for using 3 AA. I think it lasted 3 nights then died. Also, when the sound loops there is an abrupt silence, but that doesn’t happen for several hours. I gave it 3 stars because of the many settings for different sounds and volume control. The “fan” sound was very relaxing. Side note, I would happily take a replacement cord from the company if they reached out…
