Hi when you press set up on remote what is the TV display say is it 16:9 or 4:3?

My television automatically connected the DVD player when I plugged it in but my previous tele and DVD was 16.9 but you should be able to go into different ones to get it. I hate messing about with all things technical so Good Luck

One of the reviews says it has a sealed plug with no fuse, can anyone confirm that the plug abides by UK regulations?

Don't know what they mean by "no fuse" as it's a sealed unit which shouldn't be opened. This is because it is a transformer to provide the specific voltage required by the unit (a bit like your mobile phone charger). Of course its UK compliant!
