My favorite blades.
They aren't too dull, they aren't too sharp, they're just right. (IMHO) And, at $0.075 per blade, what's not to like. I've been buying Astra's for quite some time and finally decided to go ahead and buy _lots_ of them. (I they were to become unavailable I would be quite sad...) So, I've tried/used Feather, BIC, Wilkinson, Merkur, and lots of "variety pack" samples. The only other blade I buy in bulk is Feather. They are good, but much more expensive and I find that they fall into the "too sharp" category. So, for a go to blade that I don't have to regret changing out after two shaves, the Astra SPP is my default. It works well in my range of Merkur razors (Vision, Futur, 38C, Slant) an old Gillette from 1956 and in my new favorite, an open comb Parker 24c. For me they work well enough that I committed to another 400 of them... YMMV, so I wouldn't suggest that volume without using them for a while, but they are certainly worth trying.

Definitely recommend
I'm a professional and I always use these! I have tried many different straight edge blades, Pre-split and break apart. These are great blades at a fair price compared to others. They work the best, I have great results and the least nicks using these blades if any! They are good for all skin types, if more sensitive skin, I would not recommend getting too close or trying to get super smooth results..... They work great for my clients without complaint! Definitely recommend!

They're sharp and you get a ton of them for the price
They're sharp and they're well priced - I can't really think of anything else to say about razor blades. I do know that I now have a lifetime supply of them, though!

They are not sharp and don't last
It's waste of time and money they dont last at all and they cost too much disappointing

Great for sensitive skin
When I first started using a double edged safety razor I didn't feel like going through a sample pack so I decided on Derby blades and got a 100 pack. I have pretty sensitive skin combined with a fairly thick beard and it was rough going at first. My technique got a lot better but I still ended up with some razor burn and a nick or two at least half the time. I only shave 1-2 times per week so I never thought it was too big of a deal. 3.5 years later at the end of that 100 pack I figured I'd try the Astras because I read they were good for sensitive skin. Just used them for the first time and I'm now kicking myself for going that long without them. I'm not sure if they are sharper or less sharp than the Derby but they feel softer and glide better on my skin. The shave seems closer and no burn on my upper lip and chin. Very happy with these blades.

Amazing quality and durability!
I have rarely written reviews, but had to write this one as I was blown away by how good these blades are! I had tried a few others prior to seeing a recommendation online about the Astra blades, but there is not reason for anyone to think twice. Just get them.

Good, economical razors.
They are good one-use razors. They are owned by Gillette just in case you want to avoid that company. I wouldn’t use them more than twice. Very cheap and economical and great for daily use.

Shave properly
etc etc etc, look, some things were just better before "big business" tricked us. It's end of Apr and I've been using the same exact razor blade in my EJ89 since Jan1, shaving every week day. You're reading this. That's the first step. Just get a synthetic brush, a good safety razor, a good shave soap, and these blades. Forget carts. Also these don't clog like multi-blade carts do. You can get the blade samplers but remember that some blades get "less harsh" after a few uses. Also most people toss these after a few shaves, but I decided to shave until I felt like the blade wore out and it's still going.
