Almost Everything You Need
Although replacing the timing chain on a BMW N20 engine is not for the faint of heart, especially when it is in an X3, this set of timing tools made the job much easier. All the shafts locked in place perfectly and setting time on the engine was so easy and effortless. I really like the fact that the oil pump sprocket lock and balance shaft lock pin are included with this kit. With many other kits, these items must be purchased separately. The only drawback is that the oil pump chain tensioner lock pin does not fit in the hole. No problem however, that is a common issue with most of the kits. Just use a small allen wrench to lock the tensioner in place. Overall, this is a great kit and I would recommend it to anyone replacing the timing chain on a BMW N20 engine.

great set, not all tools for chain replacement.
good tool set, fit perfectly and was well priced. THIS SET DOES NOT INCLUDE ALL THE TOOLS FOR THE TIMING CHAIN REPLACEMENT, it is only the set for removing the cam gears and re-setting the timing. I made the mistake and had to buy the extra pieces. That does not affect my score as the tools did their job correctly and without issue.

Decent tool, gets the job done
I recently used this timing chain tool for a project, and while it wasn’t anything spectacular, it did what it was supposed to. The build quality felt a bit average, and I had to fiddle with it more than I expected to get it set up properly. If you’re looking for a high-end, precision tool, this might not be it. But if you just need something that will get the job done without breaking the bank, it’s a decent option.

Works perfect. Kept the cams, flywheel, oil pump all in perfect time during a timing/oil chain replacement.

Missing parts
I order this special tools from ZK and was missing a part. After I post one star review. The seller contacted me and he tried to help me and fix the issue. And he did send me the missing parts.
