Love it, boiling beautifully even if a bit noisy

Great kettle!Base is slightly wider than I wanted and I'm not keen on the Venture logo on the lid handle. This wouldn't make me send it back though.However, looks good, pours well, boils well and quickly, the matt black is nice 👍

IT had to happen but I was sad when it did as I was left without a kettle. My previous kettle was no more and had boiled its last. I had a look online to see what make and model I could get. My previous kettle was a Morphy Richards and I decided to stick with this brand.The new kettle I opted for was a Morphy Richards Venture Pyramid Kettle which has a 1.5l capacity, 3kw element for rapid boiling and a cordless base.The colour of the kettle I bought was red. This was the colour available hence I grabbed it.The price I paid was £27.50 and this included P&P. This was a stand out as it had been reduced by 54 per cent.I am more than happy with my new purchase as it is very similar to my last kettle which was purple in colour. It is a very fast boiler and is used at least 12 times a day for tea making.I would recommend this Morphy Richards kettle and if you can get it at a similar price (i got mine on Amazon) then if you need a new kettle this is the fast boiler I would say to buy!.You can get an extra year guarantee by registering it online after purchase.

I was initially impressed by the stylish looks of this Morphy Richards kettle, but appearances can be deceiving. The first time I tried taking the filler lid off the lid came apart, leaving the metal disc part of the lid firmly jambed in the filler opening. It looks as if the components of the lid, both metal and plastic, were only held together by two very thin plastic pins and that these had broken. Part of the lid is now in the kettle and cannot be retrieved, and the metal disc cannot be removed from the filler aperture. This is not the quality I expect from a well-known brand. I have returned the kettle.I then visited Currys and had a look at their kettles. Without exception the lids were all secured by metal screws or had a button which, when pressed, released the filler lid. I finally decided on a Bosch, which, despite its Germanic name, has “made in China” stamped on its bottom, just as the Morphy Richards had. I just hope the quality of the Bosch is better than the Morphy Richards.

Great kettle, but not as good as our old one. Slightly smaller capacity, doesn't boil as quick as our old one & it's very noisy.

Bien laver le materiel avant usage et particulierement le couvercle qui change le gout de l'eau.J'ai fini par interchanger le couvercle avec mon ancien couvercle de bouilloire.De plus celle ci ne siffle pas.J'oubliais: la prise ne correspond pas aux normes Francaises. Il faut l'adapter: adaptateur ou bricolage.

Not a bad kettle until you have it over half full. When you pour it from half full on, boiling water tends to shoot out the nozzle. I've burned my hand twice on it. Going to buy a cheap replacement in aldi or lidi.
