Remedied the problem
I read the reviews. So, I knew what to expect.I laid it down and glued cut strips of cardboard to reinforce. Perfect!

The board used is films as it us, but then to have it come cut up in pieces makes it even worse! And that stuff they give you to hold it together! Omg you can't even get it apart! I spent an hour trying to get the tape apart and put it together. Should have come without being cut up! I'm going tomorrow to get slats to put on it to hold it together and I'll make my own next year!

Pretty light weight
Don't forget to read the part about it comes in 6 pieces and you tape it together with 1x3 foam strips. The joints aren't very clean. If it was a mat finish, it wouldn't reflect the light so bad (because it's a high gloss finish). And it's pretty light weight material, but I guess you're only going to use it for one night.

Too flimsy wouldn’t stay together

great idea but flimsy
We found this to be extremely flimsy, almost fragile. We added cardboard pieces and lots of tape to try to bolster its sturdiness, but even then, it was fairly delicate. Considering it's good for only one evening, I probably won't buy it again.
