This small torch works great!
I use this small torch mainly for electrical shrink tube and fusing cut ends on nylon straps. It is very easy to use and the flame can be adjusted over a wide range. It is easy to fill from a standard butane container. For me, the best thing about this torch is the lack of unneeded "safety features". To use it you squeeze the handle and it lights. No separate little things to push or move out of the way. An excellent tool at a moderate price.

Awesome Torch
I love this thing, I can use it for culinary, wood and fire starting. The click of the trigger is satisfying. Worth the price.

Fun new kitchen utensil to perfect your dish.
I have been meaning to purchase a culinary torch for quite a while, and I am so glad I did. There are so many times that I wanted to just brown the top of a dish without having to go back into the oven. This works really well and browns in seconds. I have over done it once already but still learning ways to make it useful. So far the most common use is with breakfast. I stopped trying to turn the eggs for "over medium" and just let them stay a little longer on the bottom before putting them on the plate and using the torch to lightly finish the top. Way more consistent and appealing. It also is great for going a nice crispy top to sausage patties; melt butter on pancakes and biscuits after they are on the plate. This makes routine cooking more fun. This torch is easy to handle and makes quick work of everything. Not a necessity, but a nice kitchen item to finish off your handiwork. While the really pure butane is for culinary, it still can be used for any other application at home, but not visa-versa.

Great tool, filling sucks.
Love these, but hate filling them. They work great and I really like the trigger on it. I have another brand that has a button on the back and it is a lot more cumbersome to use than this one. Plenty of heat for whatever job you need it for, turn it wide open and there is a monster flame. I use it mostly turned all the way down, it still has enough heat that I have to be careful if I'm working on wiring. The overall design is good, just one real problem. Filling them sucks. You waste 2/3 of the butane container because the fill pin is too small for most butane container nozzles. I have the same issue with the other brand of torch. I use Ronsonol and Weller brands, so they aren't some strange knockoff butane system.

Reliable torch that doesn't feel cheap
Picked this up primarily for resin art and it's handled everything I've thrown at it. Flame adjusts smoothly from a small precise tip to a wider spread depending on what I'm working on. Lights consistently every time — no repeated clicking or fussing. The visible fuel window is a small thing but genuinely useful. Nothing worse than a torch dying mid-project and not knowing how low you were. Takes the guesswork out completely. Refilling is easy and the valve holds without leaking. Build quality feels solid in hand — metal construction, not the hollow plastic feel you get with cheaper options in this price range. Works great for popping resin bubbles, crème brûlée, soldering small jobs around the house. Versatile enough to justify keeping it in the drawer permanently. Just remember butane isn't included — grab a can when you order. Minor thing but worth knowing upfront.

Very impressed. Perfect flame size. Reliable ignition.
Every time I've clicked the trigger it has ignited. No annoying safeties. Pull the trigger -> Get flame. 👍 I waited to review until after a few fills, as this is usually when butane lighters get issues. I've filled it reliably to a few mm below the marked max line a handful of times so far without issue. A little sloppy, but nothing crazy. (Unable to fill all the way to the printed Max line.) "Lock on" button is easy to reach one handed. Flame length slider works well. The slider is easy to accidently move with your thumb while picking up/using it, but that means it's also easy to (intentionally) adjust it while using it, so that's a preference if it's a pro or con. Very pleased with this torch. Hopefully it'll last several years.

Precision flame, Keeps Excess Fuel Off My Hands, And allows my focus to remain on the bowl.
I love this torch. It’s one of those tools that just feels right the moment you pick it up. The ergonomics are excellent. It fits comfortably in my hand, feels stable, and gives me a strong sense of control while using it. That matters when you’re working with an open flame. One design feature I genuinely appreciate is the bowl-shaped base. It almost acts like an inverted cup. When I refill it and a little excess butane spits out, which happens with most refillable torches, the expelled fuel collects in that base instead of getting on my hands or the surrounding surface. That feels like an intentional safety feature, not an afterthought. The adjustable gas control is another standout. I can easily dial the flame up or down depending on what I need. That flexibility allows me to focus on keeping the bowl moving smoothly and evenly while I’m using it, rather than worrying about the flame being too aggressive or too weak. I can concentrate on the technique instead of fighting the tool. For the price, it performs extremely well. Highly recommended.

It works well enough for my purposes
My only complaint with this butane torch is the fuel flow control is finicky. I can put it on low and it will either ignite with a long (sometimes short) torch flame or not at all. It is just very inconsistent igniting the torch from either (+/-) extreme setting on the flow control. If you ignite the torch with the flow setting in the middle it will reliably ignite most of the time, then you can adjust the flame more or less after it ignites. I use this torch for installing heat shrink tubing in mostly automotive wiring and other DIY electronic projects. I keep it with my portable soldering setup in a DeWalt 10 bin stackable storage case to keep everything organized. I love that the torch has a fluid-level sight gauge and a removable safety lock that works well when I store it away, but can be removed when I use it throughout the day to keep my sanity while working. I only use high quality 99% pure or 14x refined/filtered butane fuel from either Vector or Colibri brands (available at your local vape shops or here on Amazon) to make sure that my torch will last a long time. If you use cheaper run of the mill butane from your local big box store or gas station, then you will be lucky to get x3 filtered butane. Eventually, your torch will get clogged/gummed up and you will likely have to buy a new one. Do your research, using high quality butane will eliminate most of your struggles (plus most of the good butane includes those plastic refill adapters that this torch included). I did not need to use any plastic refill adapters with this torch, so I suspect those are only necessary if you are using poor quality butane that doesnt have the longer refill nozzle. I also use butane soldering irons which are basically a butane torch with a catalyst and soldering tips w/adapters... this experience is why I know how important it is to use high quality butane. Just because a butane says its high quality, doesn't mean anything... make sure it is either 99% pure refined/filtered butane or that it is refined/filtered more than x3. If the butane doesn't state these details, then stay away from it. The torch flame at its smallest is about 1 inch in length and maybe 2.5-3 inches at max flow. I mostly use it at the lower flow settings for my work, but it's nice to see that the flame has more than enough upper range for other potential purposes. The torch is very light weight, and is made mostly of plastic with an aluminum cylinder grip that protects the clear plastic butane tank. I don't know how durable it would be if it was dropped on a concrete floor, but I would avoid doing that if you want it to be reliable. I have another butane soldering iron/torch from Lexivon that has a butane tank made from aluminum with a rubber overgrip that feels a bit more durable in my hand and has a more consistent ignition & butane flow control, but has a frustrating safety lock that gets annoying real quick on a long soldering/heatshrink job. So prefer to use this Sondiko torch exclusively for heatshrink work and a battery operated pine64 pinecil soldering iron for soldering work. My Lexivon butane soldering iron is strickly reserved as a backup soldering/heatshrink solution.

Was will man mehr?
