This button hook is very helpful. I still struggle to button my wrist buttons on dress shirts by myself. But when it’s a problem I use this button hook. Not super easy to use, but very good in an emergency.

This is okay for buttoning a blouse or shirt, but forget about butting pants. It is just not strong enough. I purchased this after wrist surgery. With only having one useful hand, I needed help in buttoning my pants. It was uselessly because the wire would just bend. The hook on the end did come in handy several times.

This tool is SO helpful in buttoning shirts with one hand. It is very easy to get used to and before long you’ll find yourself discovering various techniques to make it work best! For example, try inserting the tool through the button hole, then ‘help’ the button itself engage the loop. This can be done with just partial use of the other hand. The design is simple and ingenious. It’s also very well made and is actually even fun to use! It does have a hook at one end that aids with zipper pulls but I don’t use that feature too much.

I bought this for my 87 year old dad who has lost the feeling in his fingertips and has trouble with buttoning up his shirts as he can't feel what he's doing. He tells me that it's life changing for him and so easy to use. I'm very happy to have been able to find a tool that really helps him in his day to day routines.
