I rarely review things on Amazon at the moment, but felt compelled to do so for these because I gotta help let it be known that these "Mild & Tangy Chili Lime Nuts" are very good! One of the most impactful parts of these peanuts, which I'm guessing is either just the way this company, "The Peanut Shop of Williamsburg" makes their peanuts, or it's an expected thing for Virginia peanuts themselves, but the crunch of these peanuts is outstanding! Each can of these peanuts seem to come with a freshness packet, and that likely helps with the crunchiness. However, of course, after a few days of the can being open, it does seem the crunch lessens slightly, which isn't a problem really. Now, the lime aspect of the flavor might not immediately be noticeable if you're crunching right away like I typically am, you *can indeed* taste the lime if you savor these peanuts. 5/5 Edit 1/29/25 I also recently had their "Buttermilk Ranch Jalapeño Nuts", and these are as well DELICIOUS!! Another banger of a food product. Just watch out for the dust at the bottom of the can, cause oh man that gets salty. 5/5

These nuts are awesome. Very flavorful and what I love most is the crunchy texture. Best peanut I’ve ever tasted. I’ve purchased multiple times the lightly salted and they are absolutely the best peanut I’ve ever eaten. However, the salt and pepper peanuts are extremely disappointing! They are small and have very little flavor! I would not recommend purchasing the salt and pepper nuts. After all my purchases from this company I was very very disappointed!

My wife likes peanuts. Me … not something I think about. So, I was surprised when she began ordering little cans of, I guess Planters peanuts, the Spanish kind with the little red skins everywhere, how much I liked them. They are a little salty and slightly sweet. So, when she wanted to get some Virginia Peanuts, I thought, ‘’Why not?”. But, I like salt and pepper, so I bought these. One thing I’ll give them is that they taste great, once you crunch them up. The salt and pepper ratio is just right for me. And, they are nice and big without any of those annoying little red skins to flake off an get everywhere. These are excellent Virginia Peanuts, if Virginia Peanuts are your things … I have some friends who won’t eat anything EXCEPT Virginia Peanuts, mind you. Now, however, maybe it is because these are the first Virginia Peanuts I’ve had, or maybe it’s because these aren’t quite cooked enough. But, I find them a bit too crunchy. They do NOT taste undercooked, but they are just extremely crunchy. And, whether it is a feature of Virginia Peanuts (versus Spanish Peanuts) that these peanuts aren’t as ‘sweet’ as Spanish Peanuts, or whether they don’t taste as sweet as Spanish Peanuts because this batch wasn’t cooked as long, I don’t know. Still, I liked them, and I may buy them again, but first I may buy some other brands of Virginia Peanuts to see if they are different.

I should have believed the 1 star reviews. If you are expecting anything like Blue Diamond almonds wasabi flavor, you will very disappointed. If you are looking for anything but peanut flavor, you will be disappointed. The nuts are good quality but there is absolutely no wasabi flavor unless you lick your fingers. I can't believe no one else has tried making wasabi peanuts. This brand is a no go.

I used to buy the wasabi peanuts on a regular basis and they were very spicy and I absolutely loved them. I don't remember why I stopped buying them but I think it was because they kept showing up as out of stock. I suppose it was more evidence to show how delicious they were and it was hard to keep them in stock. Well... a month or so ago I decided to try them again and they weren't nearly as spicy as they once were. I also don't remember paying $14.00 for a 10.5 oz container. That's a bit pricy for what I was getting out of it. I never thought to look for them in the local stores. Well... I found them and they are only $6.99 for the same 10.5oz container. Perhaps the online price is to offset the shipping and handling. They didn't have the wasabi ones I liked, but they had all the other flavors in stock. The Hot Habanero are great and I'm looking forward to trying the Southern Jalapeno that I picked up as well.

These peanuts taste great.

These are our family’s FAVORITE peanuts. Always fresh and not too salty. Super crunchy, and not “oily” like some peanuts can be. Simply the perfect peanut, which is why when my son went to college I sent him a can to have to snack on. Well, USPS has done my son wrong!!! The delivery person misjudged the opening of the mailbox and the peanuts have been stuck in there since 2/4 (2 weeks!)! I am sure they’re fresh still, but even after leaving notes for USPS, the delivery persona hasn’t contact my son to get them out... and he has been left notes that they are holding his mail until he clears his box, which he can’t do. The property management team says they don’t have a key for the mailboxes, only usps has authorization to open them. He really wants those peanuts! Dang it!!! (And yes! I am writing this review (true story!) in the hopes that another can might be sent via UPS so my son can actually eat them! So close and yet so far!!!

Not very good value. I have purchased other high quality Virginia Peanuts for half the price. Is it possible that the listed price is not correct?
