These bulbs are great. I bought both the 12 inch and 8 inch bulbs for the kitchen light fixture, and love them so far! Pros: 1. They're super bright! 2. They're truly plug n' play - no rewriting needed. 3. Unlike fluorescent bulbs, they don't hum, and don't flicker when turned on. They turn on instantly and flawlessly each time. 4. They'll likely last much much longer than the fluorescent bulbs they replaced. (which died in 10 months) Things to think about: (not necessarily cons) 1. They're a bit expensive. (but hey, you get what you pay for) 2. The 6000k color temp may be a teeny tiny bit more harsh than the usual 4100k bulbs for some people. 3. They're so bright, you can see two rings of light inside the fixture. (photos don't capture this unfortunately) All in all, if you have the money, and don't mind "daylight white" lighting, buy these. You'll love them. They'll last forever compared to fluorescent bulbs, turn on instantly, and are super bright.

I have fixtures using circline bulbs all over my house. So glad to have found these LED bulbs! The older fluorescent bulbs were burning out fairly quickly. So far, in the 2-3 years of using these led bulbs, I've not had to replace a single one after install. Longevity is excellent!!! These come in several color options, but I chose the warmer color of 2700K and absolutely love it. Plenty of bright, warm light in every room I use them in. This company makes a very high quality bulbs and they are simple 'plug-n-play' install. Easy peasy!

It's quite a bit brighter than what I had before. My only issue is the rotating connector does not rotate enough. This is something that I've read on other reviews and still decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did, it fits (barely and very snugly). The light is higher in the white range than traditional lights but again, no issues. I'm super pleased that it's instantly on instead of waiting for the durned light to warm up. All in all, I'd recommend it.

The product turns on instantly and requires no extra wiring. Fixed an issue with my old T9 bulb which required a lot of flicking off and on of the switch to fire up. The brightness of LEDs is a major improvement over the cool white t9 bulb it replaced. Sometimes I feel like I want to stare at the light as I am mesmerized of how nice it looks. It's like daylight at night time; it gives off that operating table/dentist type of brightness which is perfect for the kitchen where it resides. No prime shipping available when I purchased this but worth the extra days wait. Will definitely replace my 2 remaining T9 lights with this in the future.

Well, much as most other reviewers have already stated in their reviews, this is simply an EXCELLENT LED replacement lamp for use in older fluorescent lamp tube fixtures. In my case, I bought this to replace the circular fluorescent lamp in an overhead light fixture in my kitchen; that old fixture must be at least 30 years old. All that I can say, much as other reviewers have said, is that the room has never been brighter! These lamps are well-designed, well-crafted, and they work very well. And, this lamp is far brighter than any of the fluorescent lamps that were ever emplaced in that fixture, and is about 65% brighter than even the brightest fluorescent lamps that were ever in that fixture. BTW, this lamps has been in service for about 14 hours per day, for every day for well over a year now, and it is still working perfectly.

Super bright and doesn’t flicker, expensive replacement but hopefully it lasts longer it did fit but I had to keep the small circle bulb in for it to work and sometimes I have to flip switch again for it to come on but not big deal

These bulbs are fantastic and the customer support provides by New York LED Luminaries is just as great! I purchased two of these to replace the florescent bulbs that were in our kitchen. One was burnt out so it was time. The LED replacements are plug and play. I ordered ours in 2700K because that is what our whole house is lit in. These are almost twice as bright and use almost half of the energy. Not only relieving our monthly energy bill by amount 4 or 5 cents each, but also placing less wear on the ballast which should prolong it's life a little bit too!
