I don't normally write reviews but feel compelled to do this one. I almost didn't buy this item due to some negative reviews I read, but then I did. Came in today, soaked it with silicone, put it in the sun a few hours. I had to finagle it to get it into place but it went in almost completely. Then I got a rubber mallet & a 10 mm deep well socket, put the socket square drive down over the truck's antenna threaded piece & lightly tapped it into position. While the fit is not perfect it's 99% there & good enough for the 10$ spent on it. cold rubber is harder than warm rubber, and silicone is a good rubber protector. For clarification, my OEM antenna broke off in a car wash years ago, the rubber base, which came with the shorty antenna originally, had disintegrated & prompted this purchase. I didn't give it 5 stars bc the fit is not perfect, but almost is good enough for me in this case.

Great part as good as original easy to install. Put on my 2017 Tundra. Made a bunch of road trips no problems. Would recommend.

Fit perfectly no problems at all recommend taping around antenna base to avoid scratching paint while removing old pieces of previous part add a couple drops of dish soap to help slide into place. Would definitely buy again!

Perfect replacement for oem antenna boot, it’s a pain to install, but that’s not necessarily the parts fault. Mostly just a Toyota thing. Have had it installed for several months now with no issues
