Ceramic Surface Techniques Made Easy!
Like her book on making ceramic tiles, I found this to be an invaluable reference for my ceramic library. The instructions for each technique are clear and easy to follow. I'm a beginner in the ceramics realm, but Ms. Pozo's book has helped to clear up a lot of the mystery behind the methods. Carving, stamping, using slips, glazes and oxides...it's all here plus a whole lot more. I would recommend this book to anyone--from beginners to the more experienced potter looking to expand their decorating palette.

Ceramics for Beginners
Libro para principiantes, en donde se dan las diferentes técnicas en la decoración de las piezas, desgraciadamente el apartado de esmaltes es muy básico, resultando el titulo pretencioso.

I highly recommend it, particularly for someone who does not have ...
I first checked this book out of my local library, then decided I HAD to own a copy, so looked to buy one on Amazon. This is a simply gorgeous book and techniques are illustrated and explained in detail. I highly recommend it, particularly for someone who does not have access to a ceramics class or instructor.

Pretty good
I gave this four stars because the information in the book is good. Lots of techniques are explained clearly. You see a wide variety of surface decoration. The only thing about the book I didnt like was Angelica Pozo's example creations. Its hard to be inspired by good methods when the end result shown as an example is so ugly. (Maybe I'm just not a fan of her artwork) We can all take the methods and apply them to our own work and designs ofcourse and make things that are beautiful.
