So far-fantastic
Tried many cables which either had frequ ent sound dropouts or did not work atmos. This cable gets quite a few bad reports but is fibre optic so no external inductive interference. It looks good and robust but fibre optic terminals need to be handled with care. We have a 1m cable connecting Samsung q60b to q600b soundbar. It is a directional lead so direction is from tv to sounbar. At last, I think, we have the right cable. I just wish Samsung wouls give guidance on suitable cables This is a HDMI2.1. which is the stadard for Dolby Atmos but they do not all work effectively.

fine when it works but after around 50 hours of use it fails
First of all read the reviews of the product from people who have tested the cable. I am a fully qualified IT Engineer and electrical engineer so you could say I know my stuff and I have to agree with other users who have had multiple failures on different connected devices all of which are brand new. On receiving my first cable I was impressed and bought a second cable. The cables looks to have good build quality and worked first time once connected to a Samsung 82 inch tv and Sony UHD Blu Ray player. I then connected it to a 65 inch LG C3 to make sure it was OK and it was . I then connected it to a top end Denon AV receiver and all was good 4K and full audio . 7.1 no problem at all with great picture quality. Then after about 50 hours use I started to get glitches, black screen, HDR problems etc . I thought at first it was the Samsung TV but it turned out it was worse on a brand new straight out of the box 65 inch LG C3 tv. I then tried different devices to see if it was the HDMI output socket . I tried a new Intel NUC, 2 x new extremely high end Lenovo laptops ,a PC, an Apple TV HD, 3 X hp laptops and an older Yamaha receiver. All gave the same fault. I then tried the second cable I bought and all was good again. ....until around the 50 hours mark where the cable failed with exactly the same problem . I reverted back to a heavy duty HDMI cable and the problem has completely disappeared as I thought it would do. I returned the second cable and Amazon offered me a refund so I bought the same cable cable again but this time at a smaller length to see if that made any difference and again it worked first time and after 50 hours use it failed yet again with exactly the same fault as above. So what can I say? As a fully qualified IT engineer and also fully qualified in Electrical engineering , TV and Radio and IT with experience of working on big AV projects this cable seems to have the technology right but the build quality and its insuffucient mid term testing lets it down badly. Be warned!

Some issues at 4K 120hz VRR
Overall this cable is pretty damn good, especially for the price. I was able to run it completely without any faults at 60 HZ 4K with arc working (my receiver is not earc certified so I don't know if that would have worked) I then tried using it for my gaming PC. Connected directly to the TV. I am able to get 4k 120 HZ with Dolby vision HDR and audio pass-through working. However, when I'm playing games variable refresh rate through Nvidia g-sync seems to cause the display to have regular hiccups. This was not present on a shorter regular HDMI cable. I have therefore had to reduce the refresh rate to 100 HZ but kept g-sync on and this seems to be working perfectly. For my needs, this is totally fine as most games I would be playing on the TV wouldn't exceed 70 to 80 FPS. But if you really must have 120 or 144 HZ and g-sync and HDR and audio. I suspect you would be better off going for a different cable or trying to find a way to use a shorter regular HDMI cable rather than an optical one. As I say though overall for the price I'm quite pleased.

Expensive, but worth it!
Bought this to replace the high speed copper hdmi cable I've been using for my home cinema system. I have a 4k projector ceiling mounted so have a 10m cable run to a PS5 and AV amp. The PS 5 wouldn't work at all using my existing 10m hdmi, so I thought I'd give this fibre optic cable a go, and I'm very happy with the result. The picture quality is superb, in fact I was so impressed I've actually replaced the hdmi cable on our Sky Q box to our main tv with one of these as well. There is definitely a noticeable difference in picture quality from using the standard hdmi that came with the Sky box. These hdmi fibre optic cables aren't cheap, but good quality interconnects never are, and I'd say these were definitely worth the cost. Haven't rated for durability, but as with previous fibre optic cables I've used in the passed, ie-Toslink, I expect they'll be fine as long as you don't bend them to any extreme angles.

Insanely good value for money
Had a 10 metre one for a month now, works perfectly. 4K at 120hz over a 10 metre distance with absolutely no problems at all. Even got it connected through a 4 port HDMI switch, no issues. Just ordered a 15 metre one too, £25 which is cheaper than the 10 metre!

PS5 PRO @120HZ works with this cable
As soon as i got this cable i connected it to my PS5 and it does pick up HDR @120HZ So this does work. The cable is diffrent to some of the reviews, they have updated it, the hdmi plastic is blue and it is defiantly updated. I then tried it on my sky live box and again much better polished picture so iv brought another one for the sky box! It works 100% no issues and no drop outs.. fantastic and i have brought these cables in the past too, never an issue and will always stay with them

Great connection...but now having drop-out...see update*
At the moment we've got a brilliant picture and sound; just hope it continues as some reviewers say it may be short-lived. *UPDATE:...it was! Nice thin bendy cable connecting our FreeSat box to our new Panasonic Z95B TV. Picture is crisp and almost 3D with excellent sound. Auto standby for FreeSat box as well when the TV OFF button is pressed on the FreeSat remote so no need to use the rather large Panasonic TV 'wand' remote. NB: Make sure you connect the cable the correct way round....Instructions are clearly written on the packet! (I did BTW). *UPDATE 16.12.2025: Picture has started to 'drop out' now and again over the past few days. If I switch Freesat box off/on the picture comes back for a few minutes but then drops out again. If I off/on again then it usually stays on longer. It was OK for 2 weeks but in the past week it has started doing this.

Works well
Brought this to fix a intermittent HDMI issue l was having with a new Sony true 4K Projector (about an 8metre run). Seems to have cleared up the issues with the extra bandwidth overhead. Also the cable is surprisingly narrow with a comfortable level of movement and flexibly, but of high quality. Recommended.

Recensione livello esperto
