Very nice easy to use weather station
I got this weather station so I could monitor the temp in my house, and also the outside temp. It is very accurate. It is so nice to know the temp outside, so I know if i need a coat or shorts. The outside remote sensor is about 200โ from my house and it works very well. It also tells the high and low temp so i can tell how hot and cold it gets in my house or outside when I am gone. It works on electric, with battery backup. The display has a dim mode so it isnt so bright if you are using it in your bedroom. You can use 1 or 2 alarms of the built in alarm clock. Its a great little weather station with a very nice display, that sets on a tabletop or can be hung on a wall. I realy love it and you will also. Order one, you will look at it every day.

Wall Mount Leaves Something to be Desired
I had the previous version of this guy's baby brother. It sat on an end table and worked flawlessly for a couple of years. I looked at getting a new one for a different part of the house and came across this. It has a bigger display, still bright and easy to read, and includes an outdoor sensor. All of that is great and it is not too bad to setup either. My only drawback so far is mounting it to the wall. Since it is a bigger display, I wanted it off the end table and in a place more prominently visible. This is where there is a lot of room for improvement in the design. The device only has a single mounting point. Meaning, it will sway if tugged on either side. What would be tugging on it? The power cord since it is positioned on the bottom-right side. If it had 2 mounting points, it would be more secure. Speaking of the power cord, designing it on the bottom-right side is fine except there should be a way for the cord to come out from behind without pushing the device off of the wall. If you take the right-angle plug and flip it up, it will come out without pushing the device off the wall however it also creates more "tug" on that corner.I'm looking at third-party adapters that have a "straight-in" plug instead of right-angle to help with this along with some 2-sided tape to secure it to the wall better. Command Strips should work fine for this.

Essential outdoor equipment
Fantastic value. We have had this weather station for 2 years now. Originally purchased for a family member with dementia so they could see the day of the week, date and weather. But the whole family uses it constantly. We use it constantly as a clock but all of us love the barometric pressure feature in millibars that let's is predict the future. The outside satellite works flawlessly and sends it's signal inside whether it is minus 20 below zero or 103. Ultra durable after 2 years on harsh weather in North Idaho. One of the very best pieces of equipment we have ever purchased. We love the brightness and colorful easy read display and the fact that it was so easy to set up. Still haven't changed the batteries in the satellite unit! Update 2026 has worked like a charm for 4 years now.

Ditch The Barometer!
The barometer would have been better if it was left out because it doesn't work. The reading is around 24.8 inches plus or minus two tenths. Since I'm not on Mt. Everest or in a category 12 hurricane this is isn't even close to the actual barometric pressure which has been averaging 30.0 inches here. The other functions work fine, it's easy to read and doesn't take up much space.
