I was excited to receive these candles. The box arrived yesterday and I opened it. There were two boxes within the shipping box. I lifted one and candles fell out onto the floor as the cellophane was opened. Then I lifted the 2nd box and the exact thing happened. I came to the conclusion that I received used candles because why else would those boxes have been placed in the box upside down. There also were no little pulls over the batteries. I don't need to use these candles until October when we do our high school reunion. I am very concerned that Inwasted my money.

Let's call it like it is. For some reason, you are thinking to yourself, "Hey, I want a bunch of candles to set the mood for something special I have planned but I DON'T want to burn down the house! Oh! And I don't want to spend big money to do it." If that is you, these do the trick nicely. Are they absolutely the highest quality votive style candles on the market? How should I know? Will one or two of them possibly break right away? Maybe. Sure. But are they inexpensive? Yes. Simple to use? Yes. Do what they say they'll do. Yes. (Aside from any that broke of course).I was perfectly happy with my purchase but of course I tend to keep my expectations in a more realistic range.

I like these. I bought them for table accents at an evening dessert. We used 3 on each of the 32 tables. They were not too bright to cause distraction from the event, but were bright enough to add that touch of "relax" to the tables. They are smaller than what everyone knows as a 'votive' candle size, so I was disappointed. These are hard plastic and the color is pure white, not off white or vanilla as the picture suggests. We had them on for 4 hours and were still going strong. I don't know how long it takes to wear down the battery.

This was ordered to use in centerpieces for an event. Expecting that some of these would not work, we ordered a package of 24 instead of the 18 we needed. I found that of the 24 ordered, only one was inoperable, the rest were perfect. These produce a nice soft glow and no heat, which is nice as we used these in glass bowls with faux flowers around the candle. Simple to use, simply remove the plastic battery protector and flip the switch on. To store them, turn the switch off and pack away. I have used these for two other events since I purchased them and they are still going strong. Very happy with these and would definitely order more if the need arose.

I feel deceived by all the positive reviews here, these are definitely poor quality, and smaller than the pictures show.These are something you would buy at the dollar store. At a big chain store these wouldn't be more than $4 in price.- Very small compared to pictures (see my pictures for scale)- Hard plastic (not waxy or even somewhat realistic to a candle)- Arrived with torn plastic packaging and a bulb that fell out (I don't dare open them to test, but now reading other 1-3 star reviews apparently several don't work and give off very faint light).- For $1+ a candle I expected MUCH better quality- Return shipping via seller is ~$7 so you'll only get half of your money back, leaving you feeling stuck because it's "not worth" returning.As soon as I opened the box, it took one second to know these had to go back. I'll bite the bullet and pay a little more for something that is the size it appears in the pictures, is waxy looking and resembles an actual candle.This will teach me to read and pay more attention to low star reviews. With so many positives, I figured some people must have just gotten a bad lot (maybe I did too). Overall, with steep return shipping, low light, and chances some are broken right out of the box, I caution it might be worth looking elsewhere. I wouldn't pay more than $4 for these in a store they just look really really cheap.

I purchased these for my daughter’s wedding and ended up using them right away for a Cub Scout pack meeting and then again for Christmas decorations. They are made form a lower quality hard plastic but when they are turned on they have a very real flickering look. They worked really well for accent lighting on center pieces and next to larger candles.They arrived very well packaged and were a great value so I would recommend them.

I attached a photo so you could see them in real life rather than a edited photo. They all came in good shape and working batteries. They are small. Check the dimensions--photos make them look larger. They are a soft plastic, not a waxy feel like you see some--so therefore they look fairly fake. Oh well--they are for my wedding so I'll make them work. In not going through the hassle of finding new ones and shilling these back

Not the BEST quality (1 out of the dozen was defective and the "flame fell off another one") but they look fairly realistic and can bring "instant mood lighting" anywhere - without worry of heat, wax or burning my house down. I've also used the ones that don't have the "flame" and think these look better. I recommend burning several together, one by itself seems too much an understatement. Replacement batteries (about the size of a nickel) are inexpensive and I buy them in bulk.

The product picture does not look anything like the product you receive. They say that they are selling LED Lighted Flickering Votive Style Flameless Candles but what they are actually selling is cheap dollar store tea lights. You can buy sets of these for way cheaper at your local dollar store.
