I really like Ambi African Black Soap! It cleans my skin gently but effectively, leaving it feeling fresh and soft without dryness. I’ve noticed it helps even out my skin tone and reduces minor blemishes over time. The scent is earthy but not overpowering, and it works well for both my face and body. This soap lathers very quickly. The suds come out practically as soon as you start to rub it. It also smells good with a light scent that is not strong at all. This is something I specifically look for when it comes to scented products. It is a thick, almost round bar of soap, so I’m betting that it will last for quite sometime. I’ve never been one to have sensitive skin so I can’t speak to any effects in that department (sorry). I specifically got this soap because I heard it can clear up the skin and get rid of acne, which I tend to get from time to time on my face. One thing I don’t like is how it leaves the skin feeling afterward. Some soaps leave the skin feeling slick, where you can run your hands over your skin smoothly without interruption. This soap does not do that, it’s like it leaves residue and if you rub your hand over your skin it’ll be like using a ballon instead, and you’ll feel a lot of turbulence. Other than this, I like how it performs and my face is already starting to clear.
