Worked very well. I bought this to transfer 120GB of movies I had on an old HP pavilion so I can't necessarily speak to its compatibility although it did work with my laptop. I did most movies one by one as to not overload anything. It was easy to drag and drop while watching TV. The write speed was quick. It transferred a 4GB movie in roughly 35-45 seconds which was nice because I was thinking it would be slower than that. Every other movie transferred quickly and without issue. It was easy to use and my PC recognized it immediately as "removable drive". I bought a 4 in 1 card reader to be able to use with this micro SD if I go on a trip or need it for any other reason. Definitely recommend if you're looking to transfer or do what I did with movies and or music.

Works perfectly for 4K video and large file transfers. Speeds are great, and it's super reliable for phones, cameras, and drones. Definitely a solid microSD card at a great price!

I bought this for my GoPro 6 months ago to take on a trip to Costa Rica with me. The main selling points for me were: The fast read/write (data transfer speed) to assist with loading onto my desktop and editing The sturdy construction. Some of the cheaper versions of this USB DRIVE/SD CARD combo are made very shoddily and I have had more than one just stop recording after a drop of my video camera. MAJOR SELLING POINT: It has an included reader which streamlines the interface between the actual processing camera and the USB drive that a computer hard drive can understand! It is great to have fast upload/download speeds but even better to have a USB drive/sd card combo that will streamline that transition between camera and desktop. And It is compatible (my apple safari and Windows X) with many interfaces, some of the cheaper versions do not have this and I’ve lost GoPro and other important footage as a result of data transfer incompatibilities. I've not had any issues with Samsung SD mini cards for years now. And I can't say I expect any here. It is a fast reliable card, works well with my cameras, useful right out of the card with my computer, and plays nice with both my Fire tablets, smartphone, and laptop. But now let's get down to some business. I'll let someone with the proper equipment do the minute tracking details. From the objective standpoint, the card (in the camera) doesn't appear "that" much faster than my older Samsung 60GB SD minis'. maybe a fraction of a second. But this is a more of a limitation on my camera's ability to transmit data not the card. With an upgrade in the near future, I expect the new cards larger size and ability to quickly record data to play a bigger factor. As for downloading, again couldn't be easier. Here the read speed did come into play, as the same amount of data was transferred noticeably faster. So why did I buy this? I really wanted the USB reader. I've read elsewhere that the current USB readers are notably faster for data transfer than the "card sleeve" adaptors. While my computer and laptop have both options (USB3 / SD card slots), I wanted to see if there was any noticeable difference between the two. Surprisingly - yes. I used both the new card and one of my older Samsung 64GB cards for the test. With the older card, the adaptor uploaded 59GB in about 65 minutes vs the same data took 35 minutes. New 256GB card (same data) - adaptor 60 minutes vs USB 27 minutes. Then the fun test downloading (same destination drive for the target): 64GB card: 45 minutes vs USB28, and the 256GB card: adaptor 49 minutes vs USB 27 minutes. Hardly scientific, but pretty clear results. The USB adapter DID make a difference both in writing and reading the data on both cards. Can't say I'll always be using it, but for the price of a new card, it was worth adding to my computer equipment.
