My dog loves this bed and so do I! I have an 80 pound German shepherd. He has outgrown his "baby" bed and he loves to stretch out on his new bed. It provides great support and i love that the cover comes off to wash, since I have already had to do that. My cats actually love it too and my dog has to move them out of his bed all the time.My dog is very hot-natured and will not stay in my bed because he gets too hot. He does not get hot on this bed and sleeps about 7 hours a night on it. I was really hesitant about spending this much on a dog bed, since the last one I purchased was about $40. There is not a comparison. What I purchased previously was a big pillow. This new bed is a memory foam mattress. the mattress is actually two different layers of memory foam, covered with a moisture cover, and then the zip suede cover over that. Very happy with purchase. Update after a month. Still love it. Have washed cover several times and it feels like soft suede. The moisture barrier keeps the mattress from smelling like dog. He is 83 pounds now and has plenty of room to stretch out with room to spare.

We needed an orthopedic bed for my dog who has hip/leg issues. It did take her a few days to warm up to the bed,lots of treats and bones were given to entice her to lay on it, but once she realized she can rest on this comfy bed she actually went to it and not the couch! Although it has a zipper cover that seems easy to take on and off, we placed a blanket over it for easy washing and extra comfort/warmth. I'm very particular on health and appreciated that this bed has "clean" foam at a reasonable price. We received it a week ago so cannot speak on the durability, but it does seem to be well made. I have to admit that when we received it I was nervous about the length, we purchased an extra large and it seemed a little small especially since she's a 60lb med size dog, but as you can see from the picture it's the perfect size for her to lay and stretch out. Overall we are really happy and is a good buy. In fact it's so comfy my 9 year old lays on it when she isn't!

Our 8 year-old mixed breed (lab, jack russell, german shepherd) has been having some issues with her back leg/paw: limping, favoring it, slowing down. The vet has run tests and x-rayed but can't come to any conclusion why. My concern is that she may be suffering from some hip dysplasia due to her shepherd genes. I wanted to make sure she was as comfortable as possible especially at night so we went looking for a nice, cushy bed. I was stunned at the price of this bed especially considering beds with fiberfill or those foam pellets are often 3 to 4 times more. We ordered it for her and I can honestly say this is the most pleased I've been with a dog bed. It sits up higher than those flat dog bed and doesn't have the sink-in issue which would make a dog who is already have leg problems struggle to get out. It conforms to her body and because it's memory foam it warms up and radiates her own body heat back to her. The cover (we got the Khaki / Tan (Plush Microsuede) is a little thin and slick but I assume that's due to the water resistant lining. We just threw her regular bedding on top and she drags it around her like a cocoon so it's all good. The size is perfect for a border collie or Australian shepherd if you need a size comparison. My dog is 35 pounds and it's got enough room for her to stretch out on her side. Definitely not big enough for her labradane brother to steal her spot. :) We will probably end up getting the 4.5" Deluxe Gel Memory Foam version in a few years if she stays on this same path just to continue making her life as comfortable as possible. Additionally, made in America. It made me happy that I could get a well-priced, high quality products and support an American business at the same time.

I love this bed for my dog and if I could give it 10 stars I would. We have a 14 year old lab mix that has a terrible time getting in and out of bed and this has greatly helped. It's a sold memory foam with a gel foam on top and a more solid mattress style foam on the bottom of the bed. It also has a waterproof liner for accidents and a very durable denim style cover. I have already had to wash the cover multiple times and it washes beautifully and is never difficult to put back on the foam. I really cannot say enough good things about this bed. Sure, I wish it were less expensive so I could buy one for upstairs and downstairs but for now I am so happy to see my girl enjoy her bed and not struggle to get up and out. Fantastic product!!!

Fits perfectly inside the 48"x32"x30" folding wire kennel. I bought this for my 130 pound American bulldog who was about to have a TPLO surgery to fix his torn ACL. He absolutely loves it. The waterproof liner is kind of like a big pillow case. It works great to keep the memory foam dry. My dog had an accident the first night home from surgery. The clean up was easy, just rinsed off the waterproof liner and threw the putter cover in the washing machine. The outer cover feels very durable and is soft to the touch. I've had this for roughly a month and its holding up great. My dog probably goes through 3-4 dog beds a year because of his size and he like to chew on them. I'll update the review in a few months when he's had more time with it. Great product so far.

I've bought a number of these beds over the years. Just bought an Xl and an XXL large to replace the ones I had because a puppy chewed one. The XL is the same as before. The XXL I had was so heavy it was difficult to lift and maneuver with one hand when cleaning around it. This is one is so light it can easily be tossed about with one hand. It is clearly not the same density of foam and does not give the same support. Very disappointing. I would send it back but it is too big of pain to package and ship, so I'll just have to see how my big boy does with it for now. Not happy.

I have purchased 3 of the bed one for each create and one for the living room. They are super durable, long lasting and my favorite part is that they are easy to clean. Remove the cover throw them in the washer, hang dry, or low heat dry put them back on and done. Not a lot of pieces or parts like I have had with other beds that end up being like a jigsaw puzzle to put back together. Thank you for a great product!!

I got this for my dog to recover from TPOL (knee) surgery. I had my old feather bed before but with it sinking to the floor when he stood up, it was hard for him to keep his balance...the other reviewer was so right it barely sinks down when he stands up and he is almost 70 lbs. He is tired of crate rest already and I was having to shove him in his crate. I had to one more time with the new bed and he was pushing to get back out but after the few seconds it took for him to sink in he was content!!!! I knew he was so comfortable to not try to get out like he has since his surgery a week ago and that made it worth every dime!!! I love it!! It fits a 48x30 inch crate perfectly :)
