This is the ‘clean room’ timer. Electronics come into the family room and the timer is set. 20 minutes a day for the kids to straighten their rooms. It’s been much easier versus the overwhelm they feel when they are expected to do it all at once. No distractions with checking their phones timer to see how much time is left. Only downfall is the alarm is kind of quiet when it goes off.

I use this at work and it gets covered in dust, powders, is exposed to 100°+ temperatures, and it has yet to fail in any way. I haven’t cleaned it out or anything or even wiped the magnet off. You can pull it apart easy enough if you do need to clean it or blow it out. Timer isn’t very loud though, so don’t walk very far away.

This is a great alarm for the visual countdown. However, if you are in another room you will miss the very quick ringing bell. If it were just a second longer or a few decibels higher it would be perfect, but considering all aspects it's still pretty darn good. 4/5
