Lehmann Audio Black Cube Statement

I purchased this product just over a month ago from Amazon. The first one showed up with the wrong electrical socket adapter for my country. The unit worked ok for a few weeks until I noticed a him during record play. Turns out the ground wire lead and prongs had fallen apart from each other. I repaired them and now a few weeks later the right channel of sound is cutting out frequently. I had to remove this pre amp from my system and use the built in phono on my receiver.

I can't compare it to the higher end models, but I think this sounds great.I wanted to spend about $500 and it really makes my record player and sound system shine.This is a great phono preamp

This is a fine sounding phono preamp with easy adjustability, particularly for MC carts. You can adjust resistance to 100 ohms, 1000 ohms, or any custom setting, for which you will need to buy a resistor. The sound is refined and balanced, and the background is quiet, which belies its low S/N ratio. Sounds every bit as good as the PS Audio Nuwave on my main turntable.
