The small led light only flashes when the volume is over 75%. We were replacing the original speakers in our hot tub and these were the match for OEM. The sound is good for such a small speaker. They certainly are not Bose but then again a decent speaker that is waterproof for the hot tub is what I wanted and needed. For the price they are perfect. Would certainly buy them again if necessary.

Good for the price.
