Works great and easy to use

I have owned this item for years and will purchase again.

I use this to measure more I think for my tea and coffee on a daily basis. The timer mechanism is wonderful that gives so much flexibility and is easy to use. BUT I have discovered over time that the temperature reading is VERY inaccurate. Off by 9 to 12° degrees. Reads low all the time so when the war is actually a full boil it reads 202°. I depend on accuracy and making tea etc. but it is easy to use. They don't if you all the instructions which you have to discover as for example using the timer's so you can set it to the second and so forth.
