Works best on lightened hair, but you don't have to have it REALLY bleached out in order for the color to really pop. The first picture is just to show how light my hair was at the ends before I used this hair dye. then the next couple are after I dyed sections of it using this blue (Aquamarine), and the last pictures show it after I also added the Tintation Color 'Intense Purple' to the sections of my hair that weren't already dyed Aquamarine. I also really like this hair color brand bc it doesn't damage your hair and you can let it sit on it as long as you want. It also doesn't stain your shower, towels, pillowcases, hands, etc. at all after the first shampoo. And even with the first time washing it I didnt notice much color staining at all, unlike some other brands of bright hair colors like Splat, Colorista, or even Ion Color Brilliance, for example. It does fade quicker than Manic Panic or Color Lux Direct Vibes, but for half the price, this brand is a really great option that Ive used before and will use again.

My daughter who is a freshman in high school and she loves changing her hair color and she's so in love with the KISS Tintation line. She absolutely loves all the bright vibrant colors she can safely color her natural hair without any damage. She always says how much she loves the smell of this formula. Right now she's rocking a color combination of purple on top with blue ends. So super cute and she gets lots of compliments. As a mom I fully support her being creative and not afraid to try new color combos.

Great product. Will last at least 6 weeks as long as you wash in COLD water and use non sulphate shampoos. No irritation. And the color choices are amazing.

I got a bottle of emerald that came out with more blue init than green. Ìm eager to see what color my other one looks like.
