Would this work for an electric heater?

I tried it on my A/C unit, attached it to the air filter, and it worked - but only for 1 1/2 hours. After that I couldn't detect the fragrance anymore. On an electric heater attach it to the air INTAKE side ONLY. Do not place it on the discharge side of the heater, it may catch fire. In my opinion they are not worth it, as it looses it's fragrance too quick, as I experienced in my home.
