Q: Has the problem of exploding cups been addressed. I will buy again when 1/2 of box is tossed because 1 of every 2 cups drives grounds out of keurig.

Had the same problem. I got so fed up trying to clean out all the grounds, I actually chucked my 2-yr-old keurig and bought another one. My first keurig lasted 8 years, so the heck with this coffee packager.

Q: Is this coffee considered no acid or low acid?

I really can't answer this question authoritatively, but there is nothing on the package to indicate it is no acid or low acid. It has the normal amount of acidity of any other coffee product, I would assume.

Q: Can the pods be recycled?

Yes! The plastic cup and the foil lid are both recyclable. The coffee itself and the coffee filter are both compostable. Per the company website - All of our coffee pods are made using #5 recyclable plastic and can be recycled with most community recycling programs. The Gimmie 5 Recycling Program, for example, hosts a wide range of drop off locations across the country and even offers mail-in alternatives for #5 plastics. Just make sure you remove the tinfoil lid and clean out the plastic pod before recycling!
