Leica Rangemaster CRF 2000-B Laser Rangefinder

I'll preface this by saying I also have a Vortex Ranger 1000 and a Sig Kilo 2000. And I've successfully shot targets out to 1,100 yrds. The RF's mentioned above have NOT performed to that distance! I've had this for about a week ( since 1/16/18). I've been ranging things around my area when I have time. I'v ranged out to 1068 yds so far. I'd range further but haven't had the time or opportunity yet but so far I love it! The range when lazed is instant feedback. It has allot of features although I purchased it just for its small beam divergence. Which in the case of the Leica is .5 mils (1.8") at 100 yds. And 18" @1000 yds. most RFs beam is 1.5 -2 mils so at 1000 yds their beam is 54 - 72" swath of who knows what you are getting...The Leica also fits comfortably in my hand an you Cath put it in a coat pocket with no problem. Lets talk about features; It gives the choice of true horizontal distance or line of sight distance. It also gives you the angle your viewing at, the tempeture, along with the air pressure. It has 12 different preset ballistic curves and holdover values although, this is really only good if you're shooting factory ammo and even then you'll be lucky to have even 1 of them line up with your gun. If you really want that option I’d look at the newer 2700B that has the SD card that allows you to upload your ballistics. But even with that you'll have to load a ballistic curve for each tempeture and density altitude condition you think you'll be shooting at. For the money, the 1600, 2000, or the 2700 are the best quality and return for your $ unless you step up to the $1,000+ range finders.

I was disappointed within purchase.I have had two other less expensive tools. that gave me the range each time I pushed the buttonMy new Leica often will not read. It takes several attempts to get a reading. This is a big problem when hunting.Also you cannot load your specific ballistics into itA preloaded chart must be selected none of which matches my ballistics so the hold over was unless to me extremely disappointed with this product for the money

Best range finder made. Typical Leica quality. Optics are as clear and sharp as all Leica products are. Easy to see the readings in any light, and extremely fast response time. Has all you need, without cluttering the site picture with so much info, you don't know what to concentrate on. My 3rd Leica Rangemaster, and never a problem with any of them. Just feel the need to update to the latest version every so often.

Works very well have ranged trees out to 2000 yards have hit a horse at 1600 yards and deer many time over 1000. Doesn't range through for very good tho but over all very very good

Tried to use it to sight in bow at distances inside of 50 yards. 18 yards measured with a tape and on my bushnell rangefinder measured 16 on the Leica 2000-B, 109 measured and bushnell was 103 on Leica. Very disappointing for a company that prides itself on its quality. Accuracy is how close a measurement is to a true value, this device is not accurate.

Is what i spect fron this finder.Love it. Works great. Fast and accurate. Leica what else

First rangefinder, didn’t know exactly what to expect. Easy to use easy to understand what’s going on/ what it’s telling you. Service / shipping was great as promised
