When I went to 11th gen Paperwhite, I thought the newer cases, with handstrap and reading stand, would best protect it. It protected my new Paperwhite from me as well since I could not easily hold it and read at the same time. My gen 2018 Paperwhite had this style Fintie, and survived several trips to the floor, and I expect this one will, too since it's almost exactly the same. I like that I can hold it in my right hand and "turn" the pages with my thumb. I like that it's more lightweight than the handstand/strap model. Like its predecssor, the suede-like texture of the inside cover keeps it put when I lean it against something so I can read hands-free.

I really like the look, feel and texture of the Fintie Kindle cases. Another reviewer mentioned the magnet wasn't strong enough, and while I agree the magnet could be stronger I think the issue becomes less of a problem the more you use the case. As the hinge area gets flexed the cover closes and magnetically latches much easier. After a week of use my case closes and latches much better than when new and puts my Kindle into sleep/wake mode. If Fintie can put in a little stronger magnet it will be the perfect (and affordable) Kindle case.

i have used fintie slimshell cases for my last 4 kindles and have always been very happy with them... theyre sturdy, lightweight, and add very little bulk... however, this particular one has a weak magnetic closure on it. the others had a firm 'snap' to them when they closed, and never felt like they would accidentally open. this one BARELY feels closed at all, and feels as if it could just flop open on its own from gravity alone. i dont know if it is an issue with just this one i received or if theyre all this way, but i have to say im a little disappointed, and will look for a case with a stronger closure once more varieties are available.

I loved the tree design when I saw it online, and it's prettier in person. Having purchased this along with a new Kindle, my favorite thing so far is how snugly the Kindle fits into this case. My previous Kindle tended to move around within the case and had to be frequently adjusted... this one behaves perfectly!

This case is exactly what I was looking for. I love the beautiful colors, it’s light weight and secures my Kindle. It also matches my iPhone 11 case. I’m very pleased with my product.

I like this kindle cover a lot! I was worried as the other reviews said the covers broke or were cheap but this one is great, especially for the price!I like the material, and although the design is a little "flat" when printed, I expected that with the price.So far so good - great case to protect my kindle against scratches!

The media could not be loaded.  I would say the jury is still out on whether I am actually keeping my Kindle. I have some issues with the device itself but this case is great I have ordered one before when I had a kindle fire and I fully recommend this case it’s very pretty it has a good feel and it is very sturdy

This is the best cover for my Kindle. It works exactly as it should, open close, etc. i take my kindle everywhere, so I don’t want to lug any extra weight. I made the mistake of buying a different brand when I bought my first kindle YEARS ago. It didn’t last long, and I replaced it with one from this brand. After that, I was sold.

Love at first sight. I bought this cover OLD LIBRARY for my new birthday Kindle it is beautiful every time I pick up my kindle I love it more, always gone for the plain covers before so this is a realy change. I does everything you want of a Kindle cover switches off and on feels sturdy, if a little more slippery than previous covers but I am getting used to it and it has never slip off anything.

This Fintie kindle case is for the new paperwhite. I have the old papwrwbite and it has another Fintie case on. This new one is the pink marbled one and it fits me kindle like a glove. It puts the kindle into sleep mode as you close the case and makes it easier to hold. I like the security of the case Compared to a kindle without.For less than 20 pounds it's so much value for money and as I have already buy another if needed.

My last Fintie Kindle cover was still going strong after 7 years, but as the new Kindle is larger, I needed a new cover. The Amazon cover comes in a tiny range of tedious colours, is much more expensive, and the front and back are different widths, unlike the Fintie that closes into one smoothly fitting unit. The decision was easy, although a few primary colours to choose from would have been nice.

Nice design, good fit, lightweight, pleasant texture, easy to hold. I’ve had one of the very early Kindle leather cases in the past which was excellent, but friends have said that the later versions are rubbish for the high cost so looked for something else. Very pleased, good value, tactile and so far durable. Highly recommended.

I love how this protects my kindle the only but I was disappointed with was the fact that it has no handle or has no way of propping it up, but that’s more my fault for not checking that out. I love the case though great colour and nice and light in weight.
