They are very pretty and in good shape
They are very pretty and in good shape. My one complaint is that the holes are drilled lower on the elytra than shown in the picture, making it harder to use them for jewelry. If you are using these for jewelry you will probably need 8mm jump rings, and it doesnt look as good as elytra with smaller holes higher on the elytra.

Did not work for what I needed
Very very brittle. Used for a costume. Probably works for jewelry even though they are very large. Not sure if these are natural as they look painted. Will look into a synthetic option for durability

Holes are rough edged with burrs.
The drilling is much rougher than expected so each wing needs to be cleaned up, however the color is excellent.
