Quality
Was going to purchase a stock replacement kit but found this for slightly more. The package arrived a day early and everything inside was packed very well and everything was organized very well. Definitely recommend for a brake swap on a classic car

Not good
Product was listed for $466 as a cosmetically flawed return but was missing about $640.00 worth of the correct/authentic items. Previous purchaser clearly stole/swapped out components and returned to Amazon. Majority of products in box were Helix brand instead of Wilwood. I hope Amazon seeks legal action against previous purchaser.Calipers- only got one, wrong color/product and would be about $320 to replace from WilwoodCaliper brackets- Recieved Helix brand brackets meant for a Mustang II and not even related to Wilwood product and would be $110 to replace with correct ones from WilwoodRotors- both wrong and Helix brand instead of Wilwood. Rotors should have been plain with wheel studs. Received drilled and slotted Helix brand with no studs meant for a mustang II. Product would be $210+ if replaced from Wilwood

Well made parts
Fit good on my 68 mustang. Only complaint was a smashed brake line and likely happened during shipping. Plan on contacting seller or Wilwood for replacement rather than sending back entire kit.

Far Exceeds Factory Single Piston Braking Performance
I have installed several of these kits. Performance and value for the money are excellent. There are several installation issues which are easily resolved. These kits are optimized to fit within the factory Ford 14” wheel so everything is very close tolerance which causes a few minor problems. Specifically, the lower inner portion of the caliper usually interferes with the spindle arm by a small amount. Most people grind a notch on the spindle arm, however clearance can also be achieved by filing a very small amount of material off the caliper's edge at the point of interference. A very small amount of filing (only ~ 1/16”) 45° at the caliper's edge to spindle arm will provide adequate clearance. Filing the caliper may sound extreme, however I do not prefer grinding relief notches into 50 year old spindles. Sometimes only 1 side needs to be filed, so check first. The lower caliper mounting bolt hex head cannot be accessed with a socket, so torqueing to specs is an issue and a crows-foot will not get in there either. Changing to a grade 8 socket head bolt will resolve the problem if you can find the correct size locally. Home Depot and Lowes will not have these socket head fine thread bolts. The caliper mounting brackets will often need one hole align drilled to resolve stacked tolerances between the 4 bolt holes. Just use the same size drill bit as the spindle hole and remove a couple thousandths off the bracket’s ID, careful not to oversize the spindle hole. This avoids stressing the bracket by torqueing all the bolts with a known interference fit. These 4 piston calipers can be difficult to bleed. I recommend Russell speed bleeders p/n 639540 (1/4-28 threads) Russell 639540 Speed Bleeder. Do not open the lower bleed ports for any reason. Just bleed at the upper ports one at a time in the normal order. Removing the top caliper bolt and raising the caliper bleed ports closer to the 12:00 position will help as long as you do not unmask the pads from the disk. You can do this in combination with raising the front end of the car for more effective bleeding. When you think you're almost there, gently tap the calipers with dead-blow hammer to bust out those last few small bubbles. After test driving and thermal cycling, bleed again as it will need it owing to brake fluid aeration that has now been forced out of solution and can be bleed out. I bleed my last install of this kit at least 10 times using these tips.Performance is excellent and will far exceed the factory single piston caliper performance even though the rotor is the same diameter as stock. The larger and more expensive 15” Wilwood kits are really not needed for non race track cruisers seeking to upgrade from drum brakes and wish to keep their 14”wheels. Fitment with wheels larger than 14” is no problem at all. The calipers, brakes, bearings, hardware and lines are all made in USA, but the rotors are made in China.

1/2 of things missing from box.
The only thing that came in the box was the brake lines, instructions and disc & mounting bolts; no calibers, pads etc. Very disappointed, lets see if UPS picks up box and I get my refund. Ill rebuy directly from manufacturer.
