Update to review: received our replacement yesterday and it works perfectly. Lights were on when we went to bed and still when we got up; it’s an adorable addition to our backyard. Also, since I posted my first review, seller reached out and offered to send a replacement, no return required. Five stars for product and customer service!Gnome is adorable and sturdy; however, the light doesn’t work properly. Even after a few days in the sun and new battery, it doesn’t stay on for more than five minutes. We made sure to put it somewhere dark and the light still cut off after about a minute.

I did not expect it to be well made & just the right size. So, when I gave this guy to my gnome loving daughter it was the very best gift I could have given her. She is 42yrs old & she bought a new home this last summer. Looking at her new well maintained yard I saw zero figurines in the yard. So, I bought this one & two others hoping that I had chose the best gifts. As soon as she opened all three I, saw her eyes glowing and knew I'd gotten it right. The craftsmanship is great! And it's sturdiness will continue to be a great item for her yard in years to come.This one is my favorite & I hoped that she wouldn't like it so I could keep it. So, now I will be buying one for myself.If your not sure about this one. Buy it!!!

I have a couple of lighted Gnomes. The others have globe lighting, of which I had to replace one, because it wasn't sealed properly and the light went out and the globe came off in my hand while I was investigating the reason for the light loss. I sealed the other Gnome with hot glue and that has been successfully staying lit for 4 months now. This globe has a lighted ring, which I feel will have a better life, because it is not exposed to the elements as much.

This is garden gnome is so adorable and whimsical! It has been a great addition to the set we have (three in total)! It lights up beautifully at night and stays lit for a while! Can’t go wrong with this gnome!
