I bought these about seven months ago and couldn't be happier. I was using my grandfather's old 8x50 Bushnels that weigh in at 2.5 pounds and have a 3/8" leather neck strap. Those are still great field glasses, especially with such wide-open objectives, but given they're nearly 90 years old I don't want to be taking them out so often anymore. They can sit on the bookshelf for watching the bird feeders through the window. These Nikons are great! The magnification is excellent, clarity is tack-sharp and at just about a pound they are a breeze to carry, especially with the harness. Focus adjustment is quick and smooth. I bought a couple of small s-biners to make it easy to swap between the harness and neck strap, depending on how I want to carry them. Both have their uses. I'm especially happy that I can use these bins with or without my bifocals with just a twist of the eyecups. Grampa's didn't do that. For the price, you get a lot of great glass.

Fantastic optics! Even when the sun is almost down, I can see the colors on the fox, deer, other animals through these binoculars. Love the many rotation focus finger-screw which allows me to bring the my binoculars easily into sharp focus. This prism design makes the binoculars smaller and easier to handle.

I already had a nice pair of Binoculars of the same power. But after using my neighbors during a visit to her home I was so impress at how much better these were than the ones I had already. I had to have a pair of my own. Very nice product light weight and has covers for both end to keep the dust off the lenses. Easy to focus and give you a nice sharp image.

Overall quality gear. Just not thrilled about the material of the front lens caps

The focus is crystal clear and easy to use. The harness makes it completely weightless so you can look like a proper tourist without the neck pain.

Took me various research hours to make my final decision when purchasing my first pair of Binoculars. I opted for the Monarchs M5 after reading reviews. Once i got the product I could say that the quality of such product is amazing. It it made with quality materials you feel and see perform well, picture quality is great and sharp. Highly recommend for individuals who want an affordable high quality pair of binoculars.

Very good and very reasonable. After buying, I found out these were very highly rated by a well-known birding magazine. They are lightweight and produce a clear bright image, even considering my less than perfect eyesight.
