Great quality product! The box was just as pictured. The adorable wooden box and a bonsai seed variety are a perfect gift for plant lovers! Easy to use!

Disregarding the included instructions when using these kits is the first step you should take. The second step is a bit of independent research on how to best grow these bonsai. Two of the seed packets didn't work entirely, the other two had such drastically different speeds and windows of growth that it makes the "all in one" approach to germinating and growing seem terrible. In addition, the little tools are cute, the box is nice enough, but you do not want to use the cardboard planters. Put these seeds in actual little planters, or you'll otherwise regret the spillage/mold buildup from the included cardboard sets. But they're fairly cheap. Bonsai is a slow-growing plant, it takes weeks for the seeds to even start poking up. You will absolutely feel like you're doing something wrong. If you take the seeds and the tools and toss everything else out, it's a decent enough value to be a solid "you get what you paid for, and what you paid for is functional."

I got different seeds than the pack said it was sending, the flame seeds and lodgepole pine sprouted but didn't make it long. None of the sakura or ginkgo biloba sprouted, even left half in the fridge to try and mimic the natural process. You have to do independent research on whatever seeds they send you because the instruction sheet was inaccurate and lacked info. Be careful how much water you put in those cups because they mold on the outside. Overall majority of the seeds were duds and not even the ones I was under the impression I was purchasing.

I just went ahead and bought a bonsai tree. The seeds haven’t hatched 🐣 yet. I gave up on growing

The instructions are not only so unclear, just reading them gave me a headache. The lettering is so small. But fir 6 months I've been wanting to do this. It gonna take some time and I'm going to get help on line and from a greenery.
